I saw The Knocks a couple of years ago. They sounded good, and I'll admit it was a bad crowd, but that was one of the least energetic shows I've ever seen. I remember at times it almost sounded like they were being sarcastic when they tried to pump the crowd up. "You guys having fun out there? because we're not...."

I will guess this right now, that we get an Aphex Twin show!!!! He has his first album in 13 years out next month. If roo doesn't get him, i see coachella getting a AFX set

So what makes you say he won't play some festivals to promote a new album?
I don't think it's festivals that he is arguing against so much as it is Bonnaroo that he is arguing against.
I suppose anything is possible...but he's played two U.S. dates since 2006. If I had to bet on a fest snagging him, it would be Coachella, or maybe one of the smaller/weirder fests. But I wouldn't even count on that.
