This article says Calvin Harris is coming out with a new album this year. Since he's been performing basically everywhere (including at Coachella on the main stage), doesn't it kind of seem like Bonnaroo would book him too? Whether people here like it or not, he's becoming a lot more popular, and I don't think he'd be too much of a reach if they can get Kaskade, Zedd, and Skrillex in the same year. I'm not necessarily saying he's who I want if I had a choice, but I'd think about going to his show depending on how his newer music sounds (unless there are other conflicts obviously).
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.

Last two years had meh EDM on Thursday (Paper Diamond and araabmuzik 2013 and Cherub (even though they're not strictly EDM) last year). ODESZA would be a big improvement.

Cherub was an awesome dance party
I unfortunately missed them because the security wasn't allowing our totem in, so we had to go all the way back to camp and back to Centeroo. It was a mess. I'm not the biggest fan but will admit they're a big improvement from Paper Diamond and araabmuzik.

I actually thought Cherub was pretty lousy at Roo... I saw them one week later at Firefly and Dominic from Big Gigantic came out and performed a few songs with them and it was alot more enjoyable.
Still don't understand all the Paper Diamond hate.

except Break Science is better than Cherub lol and they made up for it and quacking murdered it
Yeah, I really hope Bonnaroo can land the reunion of an act which just played it's final show a couple weeks ago, which also played a high-profile late night slot last year.
Also on what planet is Jagwar Ma considered "electronic dance music?" Or Grimes for that matter?

Completely forgot about Break Science, heard good things about their set.
Bassnectar, Above & Beyond, M83, Duke Dumont, Porter Robinson, Hot Natured
I'll pass on A&B, their new music absolutely sucks. Their old music and sets, however, were fantastic. Not a huge fan of BN but I understand the appeal. I'll happily take the rest, especially Hot Natured and Dumont.

Many consider synthpop a subdivision of EDM as a whole. Honestly, who gives a crap about the label as long as the noises being made sound good in your ear holes?
