I won 4 tickets the first year very easily. It was a pretty incredible experience. It was the last time Foo Fighters played a public show in the US up until last month and FUCKING NEIL YOUNG AND CRAZY HORSE.
Black Keys were also surprisingly good. That was one hell of a lineup. Foo was excellent.

Also, anyone have any idea what "On-Site Global Citizen Festival VIP Perks" specifically means? The only difference between Global VIP ($100) and Premier Global VIP ($125) is a slightly better viewing area and the aforementioned statement.

I went the last two years. It was easy to get tickets, but I have a feeling its going to be harder this year. Much more mainstream and accessible lineup. Plus the $75 VIP tickets already sold out, as did the $100 ones. Im pretty sure these last two years it didn't sell out till like a week before.
Thing I learned from the first two times: get there early. Last year I got there at 3, and it took an hour to get through the line (missing all of kings of leon). Not only that, but they separate the crowd pretty aggressively. If you don't get there within the first hour of gates opening you'll be so far back you won't be able to see anything going on onstage.
But other than that its a great fest especially considering its free. Every band gets like 45 minutes to play, headliner gets like an hour. Im so pumped for No Doubt.
Check your emails! I won a pair. However, since I bought VIP, I will forward them on. First dibs will go to LIguy or itrainmonkeys. If they're all set, I am happy to forward them to someone else. We only have 6 days to claim them or they will be void.
Update: ODB is all set. ITM, you need tickets? If not, they are available for the taking.
