sigh... won't be able to go this year. last year kinda sucked though so hopefully they get this thing back on track. NY&CH, FF, BK, and BOH was awesome and last year KoL sucked, Alicia Keyes was boring, and Stevie just couldn't get the crowd into his show for some reason (those blinding spotlights didn't help). The highlight of the day was Janelle Monae and my moon and my stars, Mr. John Clayton Mayer. <3

I didn't win tickets and forgot to get back to you (and Bonnie, I think) about taking tickets but if I can find a way to go on the 27th and have no other family/medical obligations I'll see ya there.

A few rambling thoughts: So anyone else meeting us for pre-beers? Me, some of my friends, Dr. Joe, LIguy and maybe itrainmonkeys? Don't worry if you haven't met us before, we'd love to meet you!! (Or if you're in NYC and not going, still meet us!). I think my neighbor from Campfire (Jay you probably met him- Justin) is meeting us as well.
We should probably start setting plans. My friends and I want to get in early-ish. Confirmation email says 2:00, but there's no information online, so I assume another email is coming? You think it's gates at 2:00, music at 3:00? So perhaps we should meet at like 11:00? Is it open then?

I'm actually bailing like a loser. Going to meet up with some college friends tonight (and not sure when I'll be back in the area tomorrow). Also, due to the kidney stone stuff i'm dealing with I probably shouldn't be out and about with too much activity since the pain comes and goes. I appreciate the offers from everyone, though. Sorry

I am going to New York on Sunday, and had been looking up places to get good beers and dinner. Pony Bar is on my shortlist so far, but I'm open to other suggestions if there's any.

Go to Corner Bistro and get a bistro burger and McSorley's on tap. You won't be disappointed. There's a great cafe right next door if you want to go there afterwards. It's in the west village. (Your girlfriend will like it and it won't kill your wallet).
