D. All of the above? We just want a good spot. I think we're aiming for 3. Is anyone taking your other ticket, LIguy?
Yes..an old Inforooster who doesn't post anymore. Tara, Crazykittensmile, and Leo know her from 06 and 07. She lives out in CT. I also have a couple local friends coming as well. Jimmyroo, are you still going?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I'm not. Family stuff is happening this weekend for me. Got the 2 tickets that Bonzai gave if someone wants them

My ticket is available again. No one seems to commit. Let me know ASAP if interested. Also, there will be a small meet up at Jake's Dilemma by the park at noon tomorrow.
Yeah Tiesto was boring. It didn't help that it was 4:00 in the afternoon as well a sweaty 80 and sunny, but I agree. I don't think I would've enjoyed it that much even if it was at a different time. No Doubt compleeeeeetely knocked my socks off. Danced and sang like crazy. Total bliss! I am not necessarily a fun. fan, but I don't think they were boring. They were about on par with the other sets I have caught. For personal reasons, I had to leave early. I move back out of the crowd and by the exit when Jay Z started. Caught the first 20 minutes (through 99 Problems) and then scooted out. I am completely depressed about missing our Queen, but I really didn't have much of a choice (family picking me up at the train station so I needed to be back at a reasonable time).
VIP review: Not really worth it. The screens next to the stage were way too low and were just as hard to see as the stage itself- and although we were almost on the rail of our section, we were not that close. I couldn't really see much the entire time. I would have been happier if they consistently played video on the big screen like Carrie did sometimes and fun. and the Roots did. When I stepped back for Jay Z and ended up right in front of another screen, I was much happier. Plus there was so much dancing room...

Yeah I was surprised how far back that VIP 3 section was. I had GA tickets, got on line around 2 at the East side, and was much further up than most VIP was on the West side.

Yeah we went in at like 2:30 and were almost on the rail and couldn't see much :/ Don't think I would do it again- maybe VIP 2. Maybe.

No Doubt was so much fun at the Central Park global fest last year, but no way am I trekking down to DC to sit through Train, Usher and Fall Out Boy.
I have high hopes for the NY one this year now with Chris Martin curating it. Id imagine he has good connects. Plus I would love to see Coldplay headline Central Park.
