Who's the favorite now? I guess it's probably Barca or City.
I'd say Barca or Atletico, maybe Bayern. City has yet to do anything in Europe to put themselves on the level of those teams.
I have a hard time putting Atleti in that conversation for some reason, but it would be cool for them to make the final in their home stadium.
What has Bayern done that City hasn't? City is the most talented club in Europe, their schedule could catch up to them though. Bayern still has to get past Liverpool, and I won't be rooting for the dirty Reds but they are pretty well rounded and pose a big challenge at Bayern.
I guess it goes back to my point - Barca is a pretty overwhelming favorite and a case can be made for a bunch of other teams after that.

Tbh I'm fine with removing Bayern from the conversation. I think I would definitely take Atleti to beat City if they matched up though. I would agree with Barca probably being favorites right now, but they've even been not the most impressive.
PSG throwing up all over themselves has become a yearly tradition.
they played lamely but that pen was a horrid call.
They dominated that game, but couldn’t finish and gifted United all three goals. I’d say this was more confusing than Real yesterday. Madrid just got outplayed. PSG choked gloriously.
As far as favorites, I’d say Barca and City but both of those teams are beatable. They have the most talent though. This could absolutely be a weird year where a team like Atlético wins - and yet I wouldn’t be surprised if they went out to Juve next week.
Atléti getting Morata is big, but I just don’t think their squad is as deep. Personally, I think City has more talent than anyone, but they can’t help themselves and concede stupid goals - a mark of Pep teams. I trust Atléti more than I trust City.
I think you guys have been underrating Atletico. They're as talented as City.
That's really bad. There's nothing more you can do to avoid that. He's obviously trying to keep his arm down and is turning his body. I like the concept of VAR, but when you analyze a video that much and not in realtime, you lose a sense of just how quickly that ball is moving.

VAR just doesn't make sense for calls that aren't 100% certain. Like offsides it's great cause you can literally make a line, but overturning a call like this with VAR seems very wrong to me.
