I like Group D but I don't think Nigeria has enough to seriously mount a challenge. Argentina will survive even if Messi has to drag them through, as always. Iceland vs Croatia is the big one for me. I really want to believe Iceland can do it, I wasn't very impressed by Croatia in the Euros.

Yeah but I prefer head-to-head leagues. Points accumulation always ends up with 1 person (sometimes 2) running away from everyone else. I tried to get an inforoo league going last year but only had like 3 people interested and I don't think anyone ever updated their team after the first couple weeks.

2. I have an annoying coworker originally from the Azores (Portugal) that's rooting for the old country. So I want them to go 0-3 so I can talk shit.
Reason #2 is solid. Nothing better than to get to talk shit to someone who annoys you.
Personally, I'd like to see him do well. He's the greatest scorer in the world and has been for years now (sorry not sorry Messi). I'm sad I won't get to see Spain vs Portugal live.
