Went to the Hartford game tonight. Officiating was terrible.
Four minutes extra time turned into nine, complete with a fight where nobody got carded, a card given 10 seconds after the game resumed, and a last minute game tying goal for the visitors.
US Soccer is still garbage. Berhalter needs to be fired but his brother runs the fucking association lmfao. Where are all the people who wanted Klinsman fired at?!

count me as one of the people who is happy to be watching Bundesliga despite no fans. Obviously I'd prefer fans in the stands but in Bundes they've been having some fan issues this year anyway, so...
Pretty much determined to watch for US guys in Bundes, specifically Reyna, McKinnie, Sargent, Adams.
La Liga coming back June 8. Still waiting on Premier League.

When the FA does return, assuming they keep the same fixtures, first game will be a Merseyside Derby. It's too long ago for me to remember but hope that the dirty Reds can't clinch at Goodison.
I'm not a Liverpool fan by any means but I've always had a soft spot because of Fernando Torres. However, it was so satisfying to beat them in Anfield right before quarantine started.

Yep! I’d love to go to the Metropolitano someday, but I’m just happy I was able to make it to the Calderon before it got torn down.

3 pts for the good guys yesterday against Leicester, then the Reds getting run out of the Etihad right now. Rooting for City usually feels dirty but not today.
Watched about five minutes of Galaxy vs. Portland. Fox adding fake crowd noise is weird and unnecessary.
If the stadium itself is doing it, that's one thing. But watching any game on ESPN, we know thats not happening.
It's definitely weird. I've watched a few Premier League matches with added noise, and I have to say I completely forgot the stadiums were empty most of the time. But it's weird either way. I hope they don't do that for NBA games, because it would be cool to hear everything happening on the court.
I've recently taken to watching as much Australian rules football as possible. AFL stadiums are empty too, and I'm not sure whether they're adding the crowd noise to the stadium or just the broadcast. It isn't distracting but it isn't necessary, either. I've really fallen in love with the AFL lately, even though I'm still learning the teams and players, and not just because of the current lack of American sports. I was a soccer player who mainly played goalkeeper and didn't mind contact, so footie meshes perfectly with my skill set (but not my age and fragility, of course).
Hartford has been in second place in the group much of the year, by beating the teams they should. Problem was, they lost to Pittsburgh twice by a combined score 8-0.
Last Saturday, they won at Pittsburgh 1-0 in a major upset. Hartford's goalie was red carded in the 70th minute, and the team was a man down and on the backup keeper for the last 25 minutes. Because of this, they would be able to leap frog Pittsburgh and win the group if they win the last two games.
That late freak goal from the video keeps first place dreams alive. Beat Red Bulls 2 on Sunday and win the group. Or hope Philly 2 somehow beats Pittsburgh.
