I was but a young lad when my family moved just outside Atlanta fer some 6-8 months. Aside from feelin' like the Yankee outclass in school (fer bein' "smart" and my love fer the Baltimore Orioles in Braves territory) I didn't really have friends there. I got way more into books than I already was. I was constantly carsick. Oh, and my relatives who lived very close by were some of my least favorite.
So my opinions could be changed I suppose. Atlanta is nothin' like my two least favorite towns.

Like Jess said earlier this city suffers from a ton of sprawl. But there are a few nice suburbs and Intown Atlanta has really come alive in the last five or ten years. I actually haven't had a car for a year and have been able to get around by public transit and bike for the most part. If you had told me that ten years ago I never would have believed you.
