What else do you have in the works right now? We are just finishing touring, and we are basically done in a week. This fall, we will immediately start writing and hopefully begin recording in the new year. It is impossible to say, we never know. Each album there is always a question mark: How are we going to do this this time around? Everyone is hoping not to take as much of a break between albums this time and just get started again.

i actually saw stand up once there! saw bob sagat, only had to wait like 45 min maybe to get the ticket...and of course we left before john stamos came out...wanted a decent spot for petty

I feel we get that answer a lot around this time. Probably hasn't been asked but festivals are starting to full out their lineups so you never know if you'll get a call

When I made the joke about Glover being confirmed, I was kinda bummed because it felt like a waste because it wasn't in the headliner thread, I'm delighted it turned out to definitely be worth it.

haha I tried it similarly in the Headlining thread with Johnny Depp after he was drunk at that award show but sadly it didn't catch on. I think you should give it a go. It's a hot mess over there so anything at this point will probably get everyone debating about something completely made up. Total Anarchy!

You're overly optimistic. Bonnaroo has an unfortunate history of this bullshit.
I actually picture Caribou in a slot similar to Cut Copy, closing out a tent.
But could you imagine a Caribou -> Simian Mobile Disco late night? SMD could do a traditional set to start with (a la their Live album), then finish it off with an awe inspiring sun rise performance of Whorl.
I can't express how much I would love the feeling of thoroughly enjoying Caribou and inadvertently forgetting and then eventually remembering that one of my favorite bands of all time is playing when they leave the stage.
