Going to try and run home on lunch break and grab it. Yup.
Edit: Got 'em. See you at J. Roddy.
Wait will it sell out this quickly? I was gonna wait awhile to get a ticket but...
So for NYC people, I'm either staying in Long Island City or Midtown, probably around Murray Hill. How would I get to Brooklyn Bowl from the festival? Other than doing the zombie walk across the bridge, taking the train from 125th downtown, then switching trains to get over to Brooklyn. Is there another way?

Coming from the festival that really is your only option. Leaving brooklyn bowl, if you're staying in LIC (depending on which part) it should be an easy commute just a few stops on the G train.

I had just assumed most of the after shows would sell out quickly but I guess i'm overestimating the popularity of the shows. They may take a while to sell out...not sure.

Welp, I bought J Roddy in fears of a sellout! Might by Marina now too.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Just saw that Friday single passes are gone Dammit. Anyone know where I might be able to snag one that isn't like $250 (#stubhub)?
GOD SHIT-JUGGLING CHRIST that was one day I was considering buying a ticket for.
UGH. I WANT FLO, GODDAMIT.
Lets team up and sell our bodies on the streets of Philly/DC to be able to afford one of those absurdly overpriced stubhub tix? It seems like a pretty solid plan to me.

I would but all my regulars are gone ever since The Incident.

Figured this is the best place to post this: Going to try and snag a ticket to see Blur in Brooklyn on Friday. If I happen to get one, then my ticket to see Toro y Moi at Terminal 5 on Friday is up for grabs to anyone who wants it. I'll let ya know tomorrow.

Dear god I am stressing out so much about this Blur show. I NEED to go to this! I'm actually mad that it's a free show, since this is just promoting scalpers.

I would have preferred a paid show also. Just because now I am going to have to land an RSVP tomorrow and then show up early and stand outside the venue and hope I make it in before they reach capacity. Kind of annoying. But if I get to cross Blur off my bucketlist it is very much worth it.

You have any luck with Blur? By some miracle me and a co worker were each able to snag a ticket. We kept refreshing and at 12:06 tickets popped up. I'm so friggin' pumped!

It kept asking me to enter the security code. I kept doing it and it kept saying incorrect and then said sold out.
For the Brooklynites: Shuttle passes go up in price tomorrow. I am trying to decide between that and public transportation (subway to bus). How efficient are the shuttles (lines, travel time etc.)? Obviously the subway to 125 plus bus/walk is cheaper, but I'm willing to shell the extra couple bucks if the shuttles are well done. Any insight for those who have done either/or/both in the past is appreciated.

I did not take either transpo mode last year. However, there were a multitude of complaints about both the ferries and busses. They were fielding a lot of tweets about this. The lines for the ferries looked super long.

This isn't govball related at all, but whatever. Blur fucking killed it tonight. The place erupted when they played Song 2. They need to come back to NYC again soon, they clearly have a lot of love here.
