Again, they didn't announce till the 21st last year either so the schedule isn't late or anything. The schedule has actually been complete for months. The way they look at it announcing the schedule isn't just for the ticket holders; it is also a good promotional tool to get some headlines and attract last minute buyers. Lollapalooza is already completely sold out. So at this point they really don't need to utilize the schedule as a promo tool the way Gov Ball does. But regardless, it will be out this week.
I never said it was late, I just said it was weak to drag it out.

Sunday is definitely going to be a mess for me. Who do you think the black keys will go against to close out. Some have said Flying Lotus but I think that since he's doing a DJ set at LPR close to that time that he might not want to cut it so close.

the hot chip vs. FlyLo really sucks. If they could have just switched hot chip with Big Gigantic, that would have been perfect. Otherwise, not too much in terms of conflicts.

Damn that FlyLo vs Hot Chip hurts, but I'm pretty happy with the schedule overall. Seeing Hot Chip the Wednesday before, so might go with FlyLo unless the tent is disgustingly packed.
Streets of Laredo>Bishop Nehru>Strands of Oak>Sturgill Simpson>Royal Blood? (though I'll probably just try to get a good spot for Tame Impala)>Tame Impala>Weird Al>Noel Gallagher>Hot Chip/FlyLo>Lana Del Rey/Black Keys
I wonder if it will be worth camping for a good spot for Noely G or if people will empty out before. He has the least adds out of any sub on the website and I feel like he doesn't appeal to Gov Ball's younger audience.
Now I really wish I was going. The schedule is perfect for me. I think I saw pretty much no conflicts.
Friday is perfect, which is the only day I really want to go but on the secondary market tickets are as much as a full weekend so it blows. Need a Friday ticket or MMJ to add more NY area shows.

Digging the schedule for the most part. Any word if there are big changes to the stage layout? A lot of my bouncing will be between honda and big apple stages (at the end of sets) and that looks easy to do on the map.

I wouldn't be suprised if after the festival, MMJ adds some headlining shows either in NYC or around the area. They will probably be spending the next year or so promoting the new album. i could see them pulling a jack white and headlining one of the areas in late 2015/early 2016.

Im totally expecting MMJ, Florence, Ratatat and Tame Impala to all announce NYC-area headlining shows for the Fall a week or two after govball ends.

I would think MMJ and Florence will both play arenas (or maybe Forrest Hills Stadium). Ratatat will probably do a big club like T5 or Hammerstein. Do you think Tame is big enough for an arena yet? I feel like they are in between like a large theater like Radio City (5600) and an arena like MSG.
