So a seemingly random character shows up, says he talked to some people who confirmed FNM.. Desperate bunch over at the Lolla Boards.

Lol what? He's been a member since 2007 lol. Don't worry though, it never makes sense for stuff like that. Especially when some random on here showed up and dropped the entire top 4 to Bonnaroo in late Nov!!
I honestly don't care about seeing Metallica, I just hope they don't put the same genres up against each other for headliners, like the great dubacle that was 2011 Coldplay vs Muse
Yeah seriously what in the world were they thinking with that? That would have been torture for me to decide between.

If Lolla wants to impress this year, they need a huge indie name. The alt rock was weak last year(Arctic Monkeys and KOL). They need either a. Muse b. The Strokes c. Arcade Fire or d. Coldplay

So Metallica/Kanye/Drake doesn't do it for you? Honestly, that's probably one of the strongest top 3s out of all the festivals right now.
Sam Smith is sooo not top 6. Beck will likely take his spot.
At this point its not whether or not he's top 6 but rather if he'll be headlining the south or north mainstage. Either way, he's clearly a headliner somehow and is very likely for this year. Just have to accept it at this point.
How is Kendrick more deserving than Drake? Or are you just saying that based on opinion? I like Kendrick better, but in no way does he deserve it more.

Not sure if they'll do both Kanye and Drake but its certainly a possibility, just like in 2012 Jack gets billed 4th but ends up still on the south stage, and for whatever reason I think they might just bill Kanye above Metallica with the hometown bump and the direction the festival has taken. Probably completely wrong though. Jack White seems like the most unlikely part of this to me but this is my mock and I do what I want.

Its not about deserving, I think Kendrick is more talented, puts on a better show, has more original material(as in not featuring other rappers) and he sells more tickets.

Okay, I may have over shot there, but Kendrick is light years beyond Drake in talent and stage presence

You're probably correct however the position he's been getting at several large festivals is actually quite absurd. #1 at Forecastle (where Jack was only #2), #2 at Hangout (where Jack was #3 albeit in 2012), #3 at Squamish only behind Drake and Mumford and Sons, and #1 at Way Home is kind of a big deal. I'd like to see Jack billed higher and I still think they would give him the South stage instead but Lolla has very strange billing at time and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up that way.

The other thing is I don't see them going for Jack at #4 now. He is reasonably priced top three billing that puts on a great show. It just seems after that unopposed Roo show he earned a top three billing at any american fest.
