I'm not gonna lump Outkast into that mold thought because I think most would agree that's a one off situation. If you didn't book Outkast last year, you were never gonna book them.

I am just saying that the festival has been shifting anyway from being focused on "rock" headliners.
Lolla has 4 headliners a night. Not sure why Drake being one of them would make or break your decision to go.
I have no interest in Kanye, Drake, EDM, etc and its looking like there are very few acts at the top of this lineup that I do want to see, let alone the vacation time and thousand dollars to do so. I have been to GOTV before and know that lineup is more what I like so I will just go there instead. There are very few acts being mentioned that drawn my interest or that I havent seen already.
Headliners I would like/wouldn't mind: Kanye, The Strokes, Florence, Muse, Pearl Jam, Deadmau5, The Prodigy, Paul McCartney
Lots of info to sift through.
Note: when I talk about "David's 1st mock", I'm referring to one that has PJ/Jack White/Macklemore as the top 3.
Crufio got 2 headliners right, and David got one right on his first mock (out of his top 6), and 2 on his second.
Artists that appear in all three of the aforementioned mocks: Deadmau5 Artists that appear in crufio's mock and David's first mock: Deadmau5, The Strokes, PJ, Florence (but not in the top 6) Artists that appear in crufio's mock and David's 2nd mock: Deadmau5, Florence, Muse

Out of these, Alt-J, Disclosure, A$AP, Sam Smith and maybe, if you squint your eyes enough FJM could headline.
However, there's the "pretty cool to see an act rise so fast" so it ain't FJM. And, imo, it is safe to say that the Strokes, PJ, and Muse are not among the 5 headliners Launchpad knows of.
I'd say Deadmau5 and Florence are headlining. There's also a Phish rumor being bounced around. Unsubstantiated? Yes. Absolutely ludicrous? Assuredly. But wth. Let the EDM bros eat Phish on the south stage Friday night.
(Insert act here)/Mau5/Phish Florence/MMJ/Alt-J or Disclosure or Sam Smith

no chance this combination is correct. lollapalooza gets at least two out of six headliners that are unique to the big 3 music festivas in america. i say three because acl always has overlap because c3

From what has been given, I'd almost guarantee Drake and/or Kayne, Deadmau5, and Florence are 3-4 of the 6.

Deadmau5 and Flo are the obvious two. #3 and #4 on the poster, probably.
I'd say Drake is a little less likely given Launchpad's comments, although he fully admitted to not knowing all of the headliners.
I like Deadmau5 personally, but I am hoping he isn't there. A Mau5 set wouldn't top the 2011 set just because of how perfect the situation was. However, I don't see what other EDM act would be in the top 6 that isn't as likely for Spring Awakening or North Coast and with the way this festival is trending, I would be surprised if there wasn't an EDM act in the top 6.
