Oh my. The ref made an error in wording. I said if WLViking did not 'check in' by tonight it would be a miss. Technically he has checked in. I'm sorry for this mistake which i just caught now in my reread.
So i have to extend. If WLViking does not VOTE by 9 am tomorrow EST it will be a missed vote. If he then fails to vote again by 9 pm tomorrow night EST (wednesday 1/7) that will count as the second miss and he will be the day 4 kill.

Sorry guys, I have zero time right now, but fully caught up. I am torn between Hakuna and Billy. This game has been so disjointed that it is tough to tell. I will try and give a more through read through again, but for now, since he is voting for me.

What did I miss? How are three players, guessing as they say, not looking for a meaningful run off? This could be it if we were wrong on both kdogg and munky. We know we were wrong on one.

I voted for billy because nothing was happening. This game was pretty much frozen with no activity going on. So I stacked, if I'm wrong then so be it, but its beats having no discussion or no vote changing.

Congrats town. After 2 mafia out in 2 days it was an uphill battle but I was surprised by how quickly it flipped today. Anybody want to share how they outed me?
Its always easy to see when you know who the players are of course. BUt i'd sit here saying .. hasn't anyone noticed that Billy is playing too? His name barely came up. Was really surprised to see that tide shift last night and also curious as to why Tejas moved and Hakuna came right in behind that with the stack.
Jaz - I was only subbing at the time so I did not know if you were the real inspector when you came out and you sold me. Very nice job.
I really thought Billy was going to sneak through without even a mention. It was like he had the One Ring and nobody could see him. I was kind of surprised when suddenly he started collecting votes.

Honestly, it was a toss up between you and Hakuna for me today. I actually checked in every few hours during day 4 just didn't post. When you votes for me after day 3 that's really what turned it for me.
Kdogg was easy after figuring out carini. And I was pretty confident on carini before Jazmo came out.
Monky seemed logical but when he was fast stacked yesterday I thought we may be going down the wrong path. I really thought it was hakuna yesterday, but when Monky stacked on me after J it was enough to move off. Incidentally J actually made me less suspicious after day 3. And Tejas was pretty much clear for me.
So as I said it came to you and Hakuna and Hakuna just didn't seem mafia ish enough for me. Add your vote for me and I figured it was you. My consternation was that in voting for you people would think I was just extending the day since I waited so long and everyone would have a vote but I was pretty much cleared as a townie and I had been having people shadow my votes all game. When people started moving yesterday I just didn't post anymore.
But well played. Losing 2 right away is tough. I have to ask, why whack sleepy? I would have killed surf first. It made finding you that much easier.
And no worries J. Game can be tough sometimes. Sorry for being antagonistic. If it is any consolation, it helped me to clear you mentally.
I didn't want surf dead early as he wasn't on to me and if jazmo thought he cleared 2 townies- me and surf. so if surf was dead day 2 and I was still alive on day 5 it would be suspicious. Once you went through the votes and realized I voted for carini the cover was blown and it was just about getting lucky from there. Didn't happen.
Jaz never really cleared you though. Surf was the only one IMO that really was cleared by Jaz. Kill him and them we have one less known. Either way it would have been tough.
And you have to figure someone is always going to go through the votes. Day 3 helped me a lot. I was surprised people moved so easily to you especially after they could consider me "wrong" when Monky was a townie

KDogg did you in. When he added the 5th person right after you got put in, alarm bells went off. That one post most likely lost you guys the game in my mind. It identified you and KDogg to me as potential mafia, and was why I wanted to make sure you were in the next runoff on Day 1. The weird thing is that it really was not necessary for him to do it. I thought that it meant the other mafia member was in the runoff, but with only 1 in a 4 person runoff and a 2 way starting between Jaz and Surf, it really was not necessary. Once Jaz came out, you were dead and I was 95% confident on KDogg. Plus, it cleared Surf and reduced the pool.

That makes sense, I wasn't looking at surf from that angle. If things had been moving, I probably wouldn't have tried to be so sneaky, I was just really trying to let stuff expose itself, which really wasn't happening at all.
carini getting outed on Day 1 was good for the town. Let's just say I didn't agree too much with my other living mafia member and his actions on Day 2. Really left us out to dry.

"Now I'm thinking sleepy. Tejas voted for monky today and could vote that way again tomorrow. My concern is that when tomorrow ends and monky is the one that is voted out and the game does that end. At that point they will realize either Kdogg or monky wasn't mafia. If the town is of the belief that kdogg was more likely to be mafia, then 1 of the 3 voting for monky besides kdogg is the other mafia. Sleepy was very sure kdogg is mafia and might realize what I just mentioned. Sleepy has not mentioned thoughts on other players and that makes him more of a wild card than other remaining players. So I vote sleepy."
Decent logic, but I would prefer to kill a known and deal with the unknown later. It still left us with a black hole and nothing to go on from the whack so it was a good call, but if I was in stealth mode, (and I have been in your place before. It sucks but you can still win) I would want as much uncertainty as possible.

Yeah the pace was killing me. It was hard checking in every hour or two and not posting but I wanted a few cards to be played. You were just lurking around and not posting much and that was a concern to me.
