Ya, part of my lurking was actually in part to this was my first game as a townie in ages, also there was a lot going on which made it easy to lurk and probably not look aaas suspicious.
In the past we've actually delayed for lineup stuff I beleive for that reason exactly Billy.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Good game everyone! I'm almost glad I got whacked first day; my first guess after day 1 was Tejas, and billy wasn't on my radar - I definitely coulda led ya down some wrong paths. And thanks again to fawn for taking over as ref!
oh and we (mafia) were close to having kdogg survive day 2 until he switched his vote very late for self-preservation and that got him voted out really quickly. I was not consulted on that move and even though kdogg was probably going to be voted out at some point, that really hurt the mafia and I would have advised against it.

we were very close to a 2 person runoff and he was the only person who hadn't voted for one of the two in the runoff. So if people really wanted kdogg gone they would have had to move their votes to get rid of him which I or misled townies could have used against those players later in the game.
A vote change that late to eliminate a player was never going to fly. I don't get what was going on. Good game all. Happy to have been mafia for the first time, that should help me if I'm ever the inspector.
Fair. The vote kind of broke this way:
I was not moving from KDogg. I am going to assume Hakuna and Sleepy were not either, and once it got to a 2 way, Monky would lock in.
That means both you and KDogg had to be on the other side, and you had to swing Tejas, Surf and JFG. Not saying it would not have happened if he had not changed his vote, but it was a tall order from the start. You would have almost been safer voting for KDogg before surf switched. It would have hidden you much better later in the game.
Thanks for playing everyone! I had absolutely no idea for most of the game; most likely that was apparent. I will definitely do a re-read paying attention to what the post-game recap said, trying to gather up the mafia-chops displayed (especially the 'this vote at this time cleared/condemned this player' stuff) and see what I missed picking up on. My last guess was hakuna if we had one left and if we whiffed on two votes hakuna + vikingmaybe? Tejas and Billy only worried me due to their overall quietness.
WLViking, no worries on the game from my end. The exchange we had day three threw me off at first and made me a little more suspicious of you; then after no one else seemed to think anything of it, I let it go. The only reason I voted for you in round three was to preserve a runoff - I figured it would be a throwaway vote once the runoff reset things. It might have caused movement as well to help the townies, I don't think it did, but it worked out in the end - I thought it was more likely munky was mafia rather than you, and was ready to switch my vote if needed.
Looking back that was probably a bad thought on my part as it might have made both me and you look shady with me first putting you up, then sweeping in to save you at the end, had Tejas not voted Munky. What do you think about that last part in particular - that would have looked bad, or not so much?
BTW, I knew there was no way you missed that many deadlines. Made me second guess myself a little bit on thinking you were more likely town, but not enough to do anything about it.
billybaroo, tough row to hoe, man. The only thing that made me uneasy about you was that you were somewhat quiet, but after day two I can't see how you had many other options, and you had not been that vocal before, so it wasn;t a huge change in posting behavior.

Haha yeah that group. Looking back it seems like a year was a more appropriate time away from the game for me than the self imposed 6 month break after the LLL incident. Last game I played was the last Christmas game and that got a bit out of control.

It always irks me when people want to vote someone off over old grudges. You are pretty much handing the mafia a free round when that happens. haha. I should know I use it against townies as much possible.
I remember when that first happened. Viking and i were the ones at each other's throats in the previous games.
I can ref if the game ends up starting after the 27th or so. I know the last game took a while to get enough sign-ups, so I don't think that's outside the realm of possibility. If it starts earlier though I'm gonna have to sit the next one out due to work responsibilities.

Jaz- if no one else steps up- this could work as a tag team if its kicks off sooner. We are leaving for OneBigHoliday on the 30th and the 29th is jammed packed with obligations. If it starts early and i could hand off the 27th or 28th that would work.

Sounds good to me - next week is one of the busiest of the year at my job, but then things die down considerably, so this would work!
