REM would be awesome on the beach...man on the moon or night swimming. B52s, Mothers Finest, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Doobies, The Grateful Dead, would all be awesome at Hangout. I'd go for a day full of classic rock bands. And even a few tributes for Chicinchikasaw line Janis Joplin, SRV, or Jimi Hendrix. I thought Modest Mouse really fired up the crowd...literally. They have a new album out and would be a fun rerun.

Steely Dan - thumbs up! Deadmouse - OK now, out of 85 or so bands, how about a little love for Tedeschi-Trucks, Sturgill Simpson, maybe a Sheryl Crow, either Amos Lee or Jason Lee on the main Stage as a pre-headliner. I believe one or both of them are ready for Grammy time. Last but not least...if Steely Dan isn't available, Doobies Brothers as a closer one night...even if it is pre-party. Y'all can fill the rest of the bill. Your picks plus mine definitely worth the price I paid for tickets. Just hope my picks are playing at or after sundown.
Slossfest looks good. I'm still debating on Volunteer Jam at the Bridge stone 12 August in Nashville. Charlie Daniels usually pulls together some good musicians. I like The Outlaws and Leroy Parnell. Billy Ray Cyrus not so much.
They'd probably be at #3, unless you have them pull a Beck and close the main stage on their night while Kendrick plays Surf Stage on the same night as Fleetwood or Muse.
