Listing just headliners I haven't seen but want to...
1. Roger Waters and/or David Gilmour 2. Prince 3. Will Smith 4. Simon and Garfunkel 5. The Cure 6. Aerosmith 7. Justin Timberlake 8. Bruce Springsteen - Have seen but want to again 9. Green Day 10. Muse
That John Mayer Dead thing would be great for me since my wife loves John Mayer, and I like him and love The Dead. That would be a cool show for us to share.
FFS.....Wu Tang > Yeezy/Wayne. Unless Kanye goes back to the 2005 version of himself (not gonna happen) and I'll never understand people's entertainment BT Wayne. I'll bare Kanye if is wit Will Smith but that doesn't seem likely anymore.

I'd be OK with Will Smith rapping if he could somehow bring the 1987 version of himself to the present.

His current day performance would be more of a pop spectacle of course, but it would still be great IMO.

Leaving off Metallica, NIN, and Tool becuase they're too heavy for Hangout. This would be my Top 10 that I'd like to see but I also think are realistic gets (no particular order):
1.) Paul McCartney 2.) Pearl Jam 3.) Muse 4.) Kanye West 5.) Mumford & Sons 6.) The Cure 7.) Elton John 8.) Arcade Fire 9.) Bruce Springsteen 10.) Radiohead
Obviously acts like Elton, Paul, or Bruce would require smaller #2's and #3's to make up for costs but I do think Hangout could book them. It'd just be crippling for the lineup.

My Top 10 Wish List is: 1. Paul McCartney 2. David Gilmour 3. Prince 4. Pearl Jam 5. Elton John 6. Mumford and Sons 7. Fleetwood Mac 8. Eminem 9. Justin Timberlake 10. Gorillaz
Bonus* pretty sure they couldn't afford them but would love after seeing them in Atlanta to see The Rolling Stones again!!!
Thank God someone said it. It blows my mind people on here think strictly as a musician he should headline a major fest. Who wants to listen to a middle aged man rap "Somethin sexy bout a girl on the floor, all her friends around her, I mean real clean ain't gotta touch or nothin" for an hour and 30 minutes? He would be headlining solely because of his name and acting career, which isn't something I'd want as a fest goer.

Um, that's not what people are saying. If we ignored every bit of fame not tied to his music output, then of course no one would consider him a headliner. But his music output (he actually has a decent catalogue of hits) combined with his overall celebrity status would likely boost him to headliner status if any festival ever took a chance on him. He would certainly cost headliner money. Either way, there are worse theoretical headliner options out there.

It would be fun. I like fun.
Exactly. It would be much more entertaining than a lot of other headliner options.
Will Smith was way more of an artist then he gets credit for. I will never forget a local hip hop station here years ago had Lil Bow Wow on and Will Smith came up and bow wow kind of dismissed him as a rapper and the hosts killed him for it and schooled him pretty good. It was a looong time ago but i kind of remember but wish i could remember a little more of the specifics.
but come on how could you not have fun watching him perform songs like Miami, Gettin Jiggy With It, Switch, and of course a massive sing a long to The Fresh Prince theme song.

KOL can be left at the door please. I'm on the fence with Muse. After thinking about it, they can be slow at times and Maybe not a good fit for a headliner at hangout. We left the killers once they went downtempo. Well, we also left bc pretty lights was on the agenda but it made for a perfect time to split.
I see one or two of the following to be there headlining a stage.
Mumford Florence Sam smith Disclosure Diplo - not a repeater since he came as Jack u and major lazer - killing it both times AC/DC Steely Dan STS9 Some sort of Grateful Dead jamming. (Wishful thinking on this one). Billy wants more east coast shows.

What a punch in the gut that top 5 is (as headliners).
So many things change between the summer before and Hangout. Just have to hope the management doesn't screw it up. I also have heard the new management wants to east and west coasty like Coachella I guess...never been there. In terms of ten bands I have not heard and want to hear..like Matt's ten:
1. Fleetwood Mac 2. The Who 3. Ed Sheeran 4. Steely Dan 5. Eric Church 6. U2 7. Journey 8. Paul McCartney 9. Def Leppard 10. Robert Plant

It's a shame R.E.M. broke up because Hangout is right up their alley.
