I caught him and he was awesome. He's so freakin in love with his new wife who plays with him. He was constantly looking over at her and singing to her. It was sweet.

I would have enjoyed his show. I believe he was single when I met him for a beer at "mermaid" stage a couple years ago. Had an edge back then. Yes, he is crazy about wife and baby. I got to see them in Chattanooga even with tight security. I'll be front row for Bonnaroo show.
Anyone talking alumni tickets? I am going to try and work Brett Robinson to get me Island Winds condo back next year. Really miss hanging with y'all. This year does seem to be jinxed. There's been some good jams, though; it's just been tough to find it sometimes. Hell yes I'll be here next year, it's my beach vacation. Inforoo peeps are awesome, btw.
Whoa, the BMI stage is on the beach now? Where in the middle? Instead of fucking relay towers they put another stage? LMAO That's not even amateur hour that is just mistreating your audience and assuming they are too stupid to notice/care there is soundbleed.
Also, actual lolz @ Calvin dropping out. He was okay enough to leave the hospital and go home but not enough to fly over here and push buttons on his laptop. Prime example of the limpdick DJ culture that the limpdick'd millennials are so infatuated with. I think about Dave Grohl breaking his fucking leg and still playing the show and the tour.

Aaaaaaaand I have no self control. Booked a condo at the corner of W. Beach/Lagoon/8th for next year. It's only one bedroom though which scares me but sleeps 6. Our crew has been five in the past. Price couldn't be beat. $528 including everything through VRBO (Thurs-Tues) and the owner almost instantly confirmed the reservation.
Guess I will hold off on booking that condo for next year.

This is good news for those of us that like quality posters/Hangout attenders. Not that I am one. I haven't met up with anyone yet. My family came and we are staying with local friends and have been hanging out at the beach every day for awhile, so that's where my normal meet up time has gone. And we've had a blast. But I'm hoping to run into a couple folks tomorrow since I'll be here almost the whole day.
They honestly could've just put some random dickweed up on stage to clap his hands and yell "HANGOUT FESTIVAL" every few minutes and I guarantee you not a single person would've noticed that it wasn't Calvin Harris.
Wow guys, whatta day. Record Company KILLED it. If any of you like good old fashioned rock n roll, followed these guys. The lead guy is amazingly talented and they all put on a kick ass show. Wasn't expecting to catch x ambassadors but did and they rocked it as well. I could not believe that crowd. I've never seen a mid-afternoon show that packed. Kurt vile sounded good as did PTM. CTE exceeded expectations by playing mostly their new album which is my favorite. But we actually left early bc we had the kids in tow and for the first time ever, I felt unsafe having them in a GA area after dark. I left our spot 30 mins before they started and I barely made it back thanks to the sea of people walking thru and the several ass holes on the ground who literally said that I could not walk in front of them bc it was a "no sand kicking area". Wtf. We're used to having media access to VIP area but only use it half the time. Next year, if crowd is same, the only way I'd brave the crowd would be to avoid it via VIP.
That being said, it was a glorious day. And we'll be kid free tomorrow afternoon and would love to connect with some of you guys then if possible. Happy hangout!
