Yeah, IF they release the new album by then, I'd hope/kinda expect them to be touring next summer. But, I'm just not convinced they will have the album out by then. I sure hope so though! Two hours of Radiohead on the beach sounds like heaven

I say 2016 headliners will be Muse (back side of Drones tour) / Radiohead ( supposed new album) / and Bruce Springsteen as the Legend act. Could also see Chvrches close surf stage prior to muse or Radiohead, with Arctic Minkeys closing surf stage on the day Chvrches doesn't.

Fleetwood Mac | Arcade Fire | Muse | Tame Impala Deadmau5 | The Smashing Pumpkins | Blur | John Fogerty The National | The Flaming Lips | Porter Robinson | St. Vincent
He only bad part is that you had the audacity to bill Blur at #8 on the last mock.
1. Blur won't be playing HOF 2. If somehow Blur got booked, they would be no lower than #4 (which is big reason why they won't be playing because they don't have that pull in America. Especially at a fest like Hangout)

PEARL JAM | GORILLAZ | MUSE | WIDESPREAD PANIC (2 SETS) JUSTICE | TAME IMPALA | JOHN FOGERTY | JANE'S ADDICTION THE NATIONAL | THE FLAMING LIPS | MARTIN GARRIX | ST. Probably one of my favorite Zen creations! Lock it down. Only change would be if we were to connect on Fleetwood Mac. Mac or MACCA on the beach would be die and go to heaven stuff. Wow if we got String Cheese with that we would have Mac n Cheese on the beach. Guess that would mean Deadmau5 would want in on the action.

Ugh on the two sets of WSP. It'll be like 2012 all over again. Dirty hippies... dirty hippies everywhere!
Digging Tame Impala, The National, St. Vincent, RTJ, and Local Natives, though. Haven't seen any of them.
In what world would Elton John be billed behind Muse and Mumford & Sons?
its billed as what day they would play. We always have the legend play Sunday and at this Fest im sure Muse/Mumford are prob bigger draws. Why do you need to come and nitpick a playful mock?

I'm not a huge muse fan but could see them being really fun and awesome live on the beach and my main wants next year or pearl jam and Gorillaz so would that would be an awesome headlining act I still hope they get someone like Sir Paul, Prince, Roger Water or David Gilmour, or Prince with golden voice booking and that undercard would be pretty nice too!!!
latest mock is easily my least fav and seems most unrealistic so far. not enoguh MTV/Poppy/radio friendly stuff in there
I didn't look at the specifics of that mock, but the less of that bullshit I have to hear in my lifetime, the better. Maybe I'm reading your post wrong, but who in their right mind that actually listens to music wants to go hear some bubblegum pop? Yikes.

im with you but i think its just something we are going to be stuck with going forward, i mean Paramore was billed 7th and more requested than MMJ. I can enjoy some of the artists, mainly the ones who come much lower on the lineup before they get played out.

Ah, my bad. I know our tastes cross fairly often which is why I figured I was reading that wrong. There's not much we can do about that stuff as I'm not going to "request" something. But I know where I was at (MMJ) and where I wasn't (Paramaore). I think the youths tend to use those social media buttons more than everyone else. And as many people are getting older, it could get skewed by some of the newer kids coming in that maybe have more pop-oriented tastes at this point in their lives that will (hopefully) change as they get exposed to newer stuff. I know some early 20's kids (friends of my kids) who used to be EDM only and now can barely stand a DJ unless it's something higher end like Bassnectar or Tipper. They'll skip Joe DJ to see rock, jam, rap or whatever. But it definitely takes time and exposure to get there.
the 3 lineups (since ive attended) have been really different from each other so hopefully we can keep that going.
We still had some jam and way less EDM in 2013, in 2014 (my personal fav) we saw no jam and the addition of some garage rock with more up and coming type smaller acts that they really nailed, and this past year we saw the most EDM and a large addition of female and more radio friendly acts .
