The comedy thing was out of boredom, to mix things up. Thanks for the comment on the acts though! Jeff Ross ripping kids to shreds would be hilarious.
I still feel like Muse is probably the most likely act that will be there with their presence being felt last year.
Ok ok, I wasn't clear, sorry. I agree that Muse is probably the most likely out of your top 4 (though it may be Florence if she's still touring I could see her being #3) I was just saying remove Muse because I LOVE Arcade Fire. To make it very realistic, I'd simply replace Waters with PJ, remove Arcade Fire, and that'd slide Florence to #3.
So it'd be: Pearl Jam - Muse - Florence + the Machine
i could certainly see that top three happening at HOF and it'd sell a lot of tickets, without being unreasonably expensive for the organizers.
I'm with you on Arcade Fire; I love them so much and I've never gotten to see them live, but PJ is like my #2 favorite band so I would have to pick PJ almost every time. If Hangout could rangle Pearl Jam/Arcade Fire/Muse without hurting the rest of their lineup, it would probably be considered one of the best lineups for fests next year.
Fleet Foxes AND The Dismemberment Plan? This will never happen. The Hangout gods are not that kind to me.
Not with that attitude. What would be your schedule here?
Friday: The Kills > St. Vincent (Sorry, Grace.) > Alt-J > *break* > Arcade Fire Saturday: Bat For Lashes > Crying about the Fleet Foxes/RTJ conflict (while at Fleet friggin' Foxes!!) > Neko Case > Chris friggin' Cornell!! > Twenty One Pilots > some of Pearl Jam Sunday: Joy Formidable > *break* > The m'fing Dismemberment Plan!! > Tame Impala > Sufjan OMG Stevens!! (Sad panda about missing The XX.) > Neil Young
Those poor kids got Draked AND Sam Smithed. I feel so bad for them.
Don't say that! We could potentially have Sam smith on the table for eject year and with drakes new album about to be out in next month he's very possible for hangout next year.

TMI, but...
I might go to Music Midtown just because it's only an hour from me and I won't miss much family time and can sleep in my own bed. I'd mainly be going for Lenny Kravitz, Billy Idol, Jenny Lewis, and that hot new Alessia Cara jam. And Alice in Chains, Run the Jewels, Hozier, and Hall an Oates will all be fun. I would be more excited for Van Halen but I'm seeing them with a coworker the night before Music Midtown. Can't wait for that.

But yes, the headliners make me sad.
Jelly about you seeing RTJ. Everyone else in the lineup I've either already seen or have no desire to see.
Hey, at least you have no reason to stick around for headliners!

The fact that you are getting to. killer Mike IN ATLANTA, makes me extremely jealous
I've seen Springsteen, Joel, Elton, Arrowsmith so many freaking times...please not Hangout. Much rather see PJ, Muse, Florence. Would love to trade Flo up for big rock classic like either Mac or Macca or Santana for Sunday closed.

Doing the same, just waiting to see if people will unload them for cheaper or I have no problem paying a little more if the lineup warrants it. Regardless I'm going.
Presale? Who that attended wouldn't get alumni tickets if they were going back? That's the best deal there is on Hangout tickets.
Last year was the first year that I know of that they did the summer sale and I haven't heard anything yet that they're doing it again. After the summer sale last year, the next time the tickets were available was in January. Seems like they've done something different every year for the past few so there's no telling how they'll handle it this year.
