Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Friday - whoever we could afford then Chris Cornell playing for an hour and morphing into a huge Pearl Jam jam Saturday - whoever we could afford then Lindsey Buckingham for about 45 minutes then Stevie Knicks for vintage Buckingham-Knicks and then Mick and the McVies joing in for a couple hours of Fleetwood Mac Sunday - whoever we could afford then Tedeschi Trucks with Warren Haynes joining in then Greg Allman and Dickey Betts closing with an hour or two of Allman Brothers hits.
Or...Stones Joined by McCartney, Metallica and Muse, Jack White and David Bowie....I would love to see Hangout just sell out for three massive four hour evening shows in a row with big time performers doing reunions or Seattle Sets or something. Hey...it is free to dream. I paid over $200 for a Stones ticket in HOT and HUMID Nissan Stadium. I'd gladly pay $200 for a three night show with Chris/Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac, and some form of the Allmans Brothers Band. Spend the rest of my vacation sleeping in, at the beach or pool.
Ill take those sans Jack White. I say that because I doubt he'll be touring for a long time.
I wonder where GV will take this fest. Maybe we see an entirely revamped schedule and stage layout, the addition of multiple sets by artists.
Ugh, if only theyd allow sunrise sets....could you imagine being up til 7am with glistening sun peering off waves crashing after a 4 hour Umph or STS9 set?

i would like to see stage set ups and the site itself inside become more creative. they could do so much more to light the beach up at night

Separately ticketed late night shows inside The Hangout or at The Gulf in Orange Beach would be good.

That would be amazing!! I wonder what time they can start playing at?
How about a later start time? Gates open at 1100 and the first band starts at 1130 right? Meh maybe it doesn't matter. Ne215 and I were up at 730 am in the hot tub on Sunday somehow ready to go.
im cool with the early start times bcuz i wake up early regardless plus i like the small crowd at those shows. i was drunk no later then 930am on sunday this year lol

I saw that news on Roger Waters and immediately got me excited mainly because I had been thinking possibly David Gilmour who I want on the beach but Roger Waters would be just as perfect and I think a lot more likely.

You're top 5 are WAYYYY too big for Hangout and you won't get both Pearl Jam and Roger Waters. But, yes, Roger Waters is way more likely than Gilmour and I could see HOF possibly getting either PJ or Waters (but not both.)

This is true I can't argue that it's probably not likely but was worth trying on my mock anyways but would be pumped for either one both would fit perfect on the beach and possible but yeah you're probably right about not both either way tho would be cool.

relax. do you only come in here to trash mocks?
If by "trash", you mean playfully mock how absurd some of these predictions/wishlists/opinions are, then sure. For someone telling me to "relax", you seem awfully sensitive about a what other people post on a festival blog. I mean nothing personal; try not to take offense to everything I say.

Crack ain't for everybody I guess
No it didn't mean he's billed 4th all the hangout lineups on the poster usually have their big legacy act listed last which is why Roger Waters was put in that spot it just looked weird when I posted it tho.

Aside from the comedy thing (way to get creative with the acts, though is doubt GV would do it because Coach doesn't even have comedy.) If you take Muse out, I think it's somewhat realistic, except for Waters of course (I think Roo is the most likely US fest to get him next year.) But I kinda dig it, it probably wouldn't sell me on the fest. But I think that lineup is decent, although it's certainly a lot of whored out bands that are always playing all over the place and a lot of which are pretty bland. But, that's what HOF has typically booked in the past, not shocking, hard to get acts. They've gone for typical festival acts that they know will move tickets for the 18-30 year old crowd and one good, old headliner to appease the older crowd that is there for the jammy-er acts and the beach.

The comedy thing was out of boredom, to mix things up. Thanks for the comment on the acts though! Jeff Ross ripping kids to shreds would be hilarious.
I still feel like Muse is probably the most likely act that will be there with their presence being felt last year.

Ok ok, I wasn't clear, sorry. I agree that Muse is probably the most likely out of your top 4 (though it may be Florence if she's still touring I could see her being #3) I was just saying remove Muse because I LOVE Arcade Fire. To make it very realistic, I'd simply replace Waters with PJ, remove Arcade Fire, and that'd slide Florence to #3.
So it'd be: Pearl Jam - Muse - Florence + the Machine
i could certainly see that top three happening at HOF and it'd sell a lot of tickets, without being unreasonably expensive for the organizers.
I'd be willing to bet that the lineups proposed by inforoo folks are less than 50% accurate when the final drops. I like the Pearl Jam, Muse and Florence lineup...but, it will be a surprise to not have that ZBB, WSP, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, DMB, KOL or Tom Petty type act on the lineup somewhere. I wonder who the other 50% will be on the lineup for real and not just because everyone on inforoo is alt-rockers. Billy Joel?

We better not get Billy Joel'd. (I was optimistic about his Bonnaroo show, it was just ok, and I'd prefer not to have seconds of that.)

I don't know what his position was(he wasn't a kid, mid 40's I would guess), but the GV guy in the condo next to me said that he would not have had ZBB and Foo back that soon. I asked him about a 'jam' exclusion given Coachella's lineups. He said, "if those bands move tickets down here, we'll book'em". He also said that anything less than a sell out is viewed as a failure in booking....
...Yeah, I think unlike the Stones, the age is evident in the Billy Joel shows.
