YO! Chill Sarge! These POS computers at work won't even load the image. Got peep it on my phone. Frank Turner already has me interested and an Ozzy supergroup.
They will never touch the 2003 lineup. Id still go see that lineup over this one 12 YEARS LATER
Yea, that would be tough to top. 2009 topped it for me but I only went the 2nd day in 2003 because of being a broke 20 year old.
Cypress Hill > QOTSA > A Perfect Circle > White Stripes = pretty awesome day
Lots of other great stuff that day I didn't even see like String Cheese.
Everyone left after APC for the most part and I walked right up and was on the rail for White Stripes the entire show
'03 was so good that its the only past lineup on the official voodoo site that won't show. You can check out all the past lineups except that one. Guess its just a "computer glitch"
Hmmm. Kind of interesting and definitely some departures from and inclusions of other fests:
Friday:
+ Florence & The Machine (Been wanting to see them since the beginning of the set at Deluna 2012) + Jack U - Just saw at Hangout. A lot of hype and a lot of haters, but I thought it was pretty fun despite all that - Modest Mouse - Just never much cared for them - Alesso - Didn't like the live stream from Coachella at all - Girl Talk - Maybe I'll give them another shot ? Gerard Way / Yelawolf - Decent but... / Destructo - Maybe + Joey Bada$$ and Soul Rebels - He wasn't that great at Hangout, but with the Soul Rebels, this should be good + Joy Formidable - Been wanting to see them for a while - Jauz - Not a fan + Frank Turner (even if I do believe in God)
Saturday: ++ Ozzy Superjam with Tom Morello, Slash and Geezer ++ Juana's Addiction - Should be good ? Santigold (never seen) ? Duke Dumont (don't know) ? Giorgio Moroder (Don't know) + Clutch - if it's the band, - if it's the DJ ++ Lettuce - Fuck yeah ? Joywave - Missed at Hangout
Sunday: - Zac Brown Band - Don't care and probably won't see - Deadmau5 - Don't care or like and most likely won't see + Chance the Rapper - Chance was great at Waka + Eric Prydz - Been needing to see + Slightly Stoppid - Always entertaining - Third Eye Blind - Hahahahahaha + The Cult - not really a fan, but they need late 80's/90's cheese, so this should fit in fine - Bro Safari - As I always say, I want him to be a joke, but I think it's serious. Some okay trap and whatever, but eh.... + Fishbone - I only got to see half their set last year, and it was f'n great + Quickie Mart - Always a good DJ + Dumpstaphunk - You know they'll be good even if they're at everything else
Overall, I'm giving the initial release a 7 out of 10 because there is enough shit for me to see. There is some absolutely no interest shit for me, but I won't see that stuff anyway.

You were only 20 in 2003? UGH I hate how old you all make me.
So I looked back on all the previous years and there are a few years that had closer to 110 (2011) and 100 (2010), but since 2012 they have only had 80 on the lineup. Which means we will get some add ons, just not a bunch.

lol, well said
Check out Giorgio. He's a legend. He's 75 and is like Nile Rodgers, just some a producer from the disco era. He worked with Daft Punk on their last album.

I just can't get that into it. I mean will be there for ozzy hopefully but the rest isn't all that to me but could still be a lot of fun gonna have to decide tho. I think it's just damn Zac brown band getting on Another good fest.
Last year, every day single day tickets went up. By Sunday they were $90. I want to say they started out at $70 on Friday. They don't release the single day tickets until right before the fest also.

The Cult aren't cheese. They had three straight great albums in the early-mid 80s (Dreamtime, Love, Electric). Don't let the MTV/Bob Rock version of them fool you.
On the downside, Ian Astbury is extremely hit and miss, but he thrives when feeling the elemental groove, so maybe NOLA style will bring out the interested Ian. Billy Duffy is always on point, though. They should be a good show for anyone who stops by, but don't expect skin-tight clothes and flowing locks or anything, expect LOUD.
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas
damn this lineup is good enough for me to come back in town for ... joey badass and the soul rebels is the most interesting act on there. no odesza tho

lol i most certainly didnt miss Yelawolf or Clutch. Both are fucking awful.
You're fucking awful. But no, really, Yelawolf is.
I have never seen Yelawolf live. I just know that people seem to like him. He is playing here on June 21st. I thought it was weird that he was on the Voodoo lineup honestly.
