Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Get some more information on that if you can. That would be awesome and a little closer to Black Sabbath than Brown Sabbath was at Roo though they were still great as always. That's absolutely perfect for Halloween night (Saturday this year).
Will do if possible. My guy has never lead me astray with my info. He is looking into the lineup release since it is nowhere except in the twitter universe and not on the Voodoo twitter page. But Ozzy and Slash are definite, I am pretty sure that FNM is a lock too, but that wasn't 100%.
Word. Although I have heard mixed reviews of FNM's current tour, I would love to see them be they in a headliner or subheadliner spot. Btw, I saw Atmosphere at Bonnaroo, and while they indeed had the crowd going, it was sophomoric in parts which I found to be a little disrespectful to women and kind of unnecessary. I wanted to like them more, as the two dj's were great and the rapper guy was pretty good too. But they aren't 14, so they don't have to act like they are.
Is this Ozzy rumor for real? He just headlined a couple of years ago. I enjoyed that, but again... maybe not.
Faith No More makes so much sense it's silly. They're not particularly expensive, have a well known name, still have their artistic integrity, aren't playing NOLA, have a new album, and will deliver a great show.
How about Royal Blood? They weren't there last year and they're at Austin City Limits in October.

Atmosphere played Voodoo two years ago I think and I saw them then. I like some of their music, but we skipped them for parts of Alabama Shakes and Tears for Fears. I don't think he will be back yet.

I would love Royal Blood. The Ozzy thing is a lock. 100%. My guy has never let me down, it comes pretty much straight from the Rehage mouth.
Come on Festive. If you can't divulge any info, at least can you tell us a) whether it is more or less in line with other festivals or mostly different; and b) whether it's hopefully more rock than say Matt & Kim level stuff.
Pretty please? Also, what's your 1-10 scale on it overall (putting some of your eclectic/eccentric tastes aside).
Come on Festive? BITCH I AINT NO GOD DAMN "FESTIVE OWL"
Hahahahahah Ohhh Phi, don't get all upset. We are just jonesing for some Voodoo insight. Oh and for the record, I know that you are 110% better than Festive Owl, they fucking suck.
FNM > Ozzy on the main stage on Halloween would be fucking sick!!
Would rather have Black Sabbath obv but whatever, I'll gladly take Ozzy!
Is it possible to get both Ozzy and Drake in the same year twice? I have this gut feeling that Drake will be there, but that will make this almost a dupe of 2010. UGH.

I hope not, Drake sucked at Voodoo 2010. To be honest, I dislike Kanye but if we gotta get rap'd then I'd prefer him since I've never seen him before. Could always get Kendrick'd or Jay-Z'd.
Florence + the Machine could end up playing too.
2010 was my least favorite Voodoo ever, although it had some standout moments:
Ozzy on Devil's Night Die Antwoord Hot Chip MGMT on Halloween in Scooby Doo costumes Toubab Krewe Big Freedia
I thought Muse was super weak. Matrix + Mountain Dew. Missed MMJ because I went to Panic. Heard that show was legendary.
I think they'd definitely headline. Same level as Jane's Addiction.
Jane's Addiction was preheadliner for KISS on Halloween 2009. I was 2nd row center for that show!
Coincidentally, I just watched the blu-ray of that show yesterday, shit was awesome.[/quote]
They played the same night as KISS but they were definitely a headliner. They were the second name on the poster, played a full set time, and had their complete stage experience.
Just because both of these iconic bands played on Halloween doesn't mean Jane's was a subheadliner. They played the opposite stage as well. I know too - I was there.
I think Jane's and FNM are nearly exactly equal in fame and prestige. FNM is more relevant, given the fact that Mike Patton is so prolific and well loved in the alt community.

Kendrick is playing Essence fest, I highly doubt that he would be back again already. MMJ was AMAZING that year! So fucking good. Also, I had to sit through Drake for Street Sweeper Social Club who were mind-blowing.
lol okay dude whatever you say. The headliner at Voodoo in those years played the 'right' stage, everytime, around 9pm. 2009= Eminem, KISS, Lenny Kravitz
Jane's Addiction played at like 7pm on the left stage. They were def the biggest band on the lineup to me, and were the best performance though.
Kiss was def ahead of them on the poster too. None of this matters at all but I'm an Historian so I keep track of shit like this and will argue it to death. =)
Street Sweeper Social Club was awesome that year too.
Totally forgot about SSSC! They were awesome.
Their guitar player, Seahag, played lead for the Grandmothers of Invention, and that dude can play EXACTLY like Frank Zappa. It's insane. He's way better at it than Dweezil imo

That was the all time best Voodoo, imho.
Dude! Black Keys in the pouring rain and then Silversun Pickups?! So fucking good. That was my actual birthday too. I also remember it was starting to rain when we went in and they accidentally gave us LOA wristbands. Amazing year.

Whoa, that is an awesome score right there! I saw PHJB for the first time once it started raining at Black Keys as we ran into their tent to get out of the rain. Justice was really good... Enimem was boring....so we split and I saw my first Ween show, which was my #2 set of the weekend!
Parliament Jello Biafra Black Lips 1st Panic show (at like 53 now) 1st Flaming Lips show Wolfmother Gogol Bordello Janelle Monae Squirel Nut Zippers Mutemath The Pogues (dude was so f'n drunk) etc
That was the last time Halloween was on a Saturday too......maybe they'll blow it out of the park this year?

I forgot about Janelle Monae, she played the next year too. Oh and Mutemath, god I love them.
Damn. Who is big enough for Halloween (or what if it's a specific performance)? My Halloween night run last year was Fishbone, Action Bronson, Slayer and Outkast (would have caught the end of Booka Shade)
