I went to Austin during ACL one year for just the aftershows. I did hang out at Barton Springs pool during the day and could hear some bands fron there. I know not everyone does the late nights at ACL, but if some interest you this year, I might suggest getting tickets for those and coming to Austin and seeing how getting a wristband works out.
Aftershows will probably be announced August 17. They were announced on August 18 last year and the 19th the year before. The single days should be announced in less than 3 weeks. Schedule will be announced around the same time as the aftershows hopefully.
When that daily coming? They said summer and I think we are balls deep!
Well, last year I bought my tickets (Friday & Sunday passes only) on July 24th and Saturday passes were already sold out, so the daily must've came out quite a bit before that. The schedule was out in August, mid August I believe Bc it was after my hooping thing on August 10th... I have a weird memory, just go with it.
And apparently I'm going to both weekends now. Depending on the daily, I may just do a day pass for Florence weekend 2.
My weekend one pass is bought and my flight is officially booked. Very excited to see Austin and experience this fest.
Where did pick up a Weekend 1 pass if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking for one as well.
Saw a friend who I'm going with put on Facebook that they were going to the event "Austin City Limits music festival" so I joined it and put I was going. I then put that I was looking for a weekend one pass and bought one from a girl on PayPal for $290.

God damn they're really dragging this daily breakdown out. Shit the weekend passes are basically sold out just drop those single days and daily already so I can stop checking on it haha. And why does pollster show Dave chappelle playing at acl?

Showed me proof of a confirmation in change of address on the ticket to come to my house.
I looked at the prices for that though, it looks they nickel and dime the crap out of you. You have to pay for everything separately.
I did go last year. It was a lot of fun. I thought for a first year fest they were really organized. I'm planning on going again this year. They do nickel and dime you for everything but I had a blast.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Totally late to this party but anyone looking for someone to split a room or if anyone's looking to go in on an air bnb with a fellow roovian im traveling from NYC solo for weekend two
The website says after shows were announced Aug 21st last year.
I wonder if a Tame Imapala or RTJ after show is too far out of the question... I'd really love for that to happen. If RTJ gets one I'm 100% in for it. I would love to see Halsey get one, but she doesn't have enough material for two shows. Ryn Weaver would be another good one.
Oh, and Disclosure and Alt J would be 100% ins too. I doubt Disclosure would get one, but I feel like Alt J could...

Dylan had one at Stubb's in '07 and I think he was the first act on the lineup and White Stripes had one scheduled that same year. That all seems like ancient history but both Skrillex and Wilco had one recently. I got a message earlier today that alt-J is playing Dallas. I haven't checked it but that might be part of the C3 presents official aftershows. I'm going to check that out niw.
Really hoping for a chance the rapper, Disclosure, or tame impala after show. I wouldn't complain about run jewels and I would lose it over a Deadmau5 one but don't expect it.
