I saw a picture on Instagram of him jamming onstage with Run The Jewels. I really hope Zack De La Rocha is there next week. It's not even a conflict for me anymore. Even if Travis Barker joins em that's cool too I guess.

A friend is telling me RTJ is showing up to the TVon the Radio after show. CANT HYPE IT AND NOT DELIVER FRIEND!
What song did Gary Clark Jr do with Run The Jewels?? Did anyone else join them on stage?
I was pretty trashy but I think he came out on the end of lie cheat steal. Boots also showed up on their set earlier on.
Gary also showed up for foo fighters set towards the end. Glad I spikked most of the Foos and did disclosure. Disclosurerocked the shit, sound and visually, and grohl was sitting on the stage edge the entire set.

Scale of 1/10 on disclosure?
1000000000
It was insane. They have upped their game so fucking much. Seriously. Hands down the best show of the night. I saw the end of FF & Dave sounded terrible.
And GCJ came out at the end of A Christmas Fucking Miracle and did the solo. It was awesome.

ahhhhhh. I wanted to go to that when it was just TVOTR. Ugh.
Glad to hear that Disclosure was worth missing Foo's for! Probably going to do 30-40 minutes of Disclosure then the rest Foo's.
you say that now. 10 bucks says you don't want to leave.
Also, anyone have suggestions on where to park around the venue? I uber'd today, but I don't plan on drinking or anything tomorrow so I'm driving myself.

I've parked at the Edward Long Center before and it was much cheaper than other options in the area. Unfortunately, they weren't allowing people to park there last year during FFF. There is also a free shuttle from downtown if you wanted to park there. If they're still doing it, here is also this m.facebook.com/pages/ACL-Fest-Parking-That-Helps-Young-Musicians/412351078819452

what happened with this? did RTJ show face?
Nah. The formula made sense at the time. They both performed on Colbert together. BOOTS, the opener, produced RTJ's album. I mean, maybe they were backstage getting fucked up but they didn't perform.

Thank you for this! I parked here today and it was perfect.

Oh jeez dEaDMau5 was fun.entire show was non stop. I even loved his "fuck you" to other edm acts when he brought out a couch on stage and enjoyed a carona with the security stage crew and dancing shark while the music played. 10/10.
Watched the entire mau5 show and still made it to drake to hear 0-100, back to back, big rings, no tellin and legend plus fire works.

That almost makes me want to check out a bit of his set next weekend. Almost.
For non acl goers. I may hit up barton springs which sits behind the Honeaway stage which will have Gary Clark, Bassnectar. I was there this morning and the soundcheck was loud enough to hear from the springs.

Saturday lineup was dismal imho. Deadmau5 on the couch with left shark and some other stuffed douche was retarded at Bonnaroo. I skipped that set but caught some of it on the taped stream. I literally hated it. Don't even check your email or push buttons, just bring out a couch and chill. 100% chump shit in my opinion. It's too bad he's not really opposed Voodoo Sunday. I'll be skipping that bullshit.

lol wow, you do realize he does this to make fun of those very DJs you're bitching about right? deadmau5 troll game is strong still I see
Yeah. I know it's a giant troll. But it's still pretty weak. I'll credit him for his production work and even mixtapes, but those live shows don't do anything for me. I saw Russ Liquid last night blasting trumpet and GRiZ jamming on that sax. I rather that stuff live.
Deadmau5 was cool in 2011. Disclosure easily trumps him at this point.
Meh, I saw both this weekend and I'll be seeing mau5 again next Saturday so I would disagree, but disclosure was great no lie. It's just a different show bc disclosure stops frequently between each song until about the last 20 minutes they get going. I give it to mau5 between the two tho.

Im just trying to add some gasoline to the fire. How were the Strokes? I was wondering what bands can we expect to never see now that GV has takeb over.
Example) Deadmau5 and Tommy lee banned from coachella so no hangout perhaps?
Top 5 sets of the weekend for me were: 1. Disclosure- Seriously they upped their game. I was in awe at the new live show and the presentation and production. Really loved the live version of the song with Brendan Reilly they did as the first encore. This show is huge.
2. Tame Impala- I was nervous their show would be a let down cause I had so much fun when I saw them back in June in a down pour of rain but they delivered again. Definitely wasn't disappointed.
3. Deadmau5- Preferred his set at Bonnaroo. There was just something magical about seeing him play what stage. But he was still awesome this time around.
4. Chance the rapper- not sure how one human being has that much energy but damn he's such a great performer.
5. The Weeknd- Thought he sounded great and I really had a lot of fun. His set was fucking packed.
Honorable mention: Alt-J,BØRNS, and Run the Jewels.

Even a fellow deadmau5 fanboy has to recognize he hasn't been on his A-game in years. Disclosure's new album was lame, but it seems their new show has promise. I would argue the new deadmau5 show is a downgrade from his older shows.

I'll give you that it was a great show on Saturday but def not as good as the one I saw at 2010 roo.

I've seen deadmau5 three times, and his Bonnaroo show was definitely the weakest. His cube production is superior to his mouse trap set-up, and his insistence on playing inferior remixes to his own tracks sucks.
