I'm only going for Saturday of weekend 2 but a glass animal could work!
Mutemath was fantastic. I have to admit, their set at Floatfest was decent but when they are in their own skin snd have their own production, the energy was sky high and the sounf fantastic.
My boy in austin told me he had top 3 of Royal Blood, Foo Fighters and Moon Taxi. He said Gary Clark Jr. was great, he surprisingly didn't hate Floss "even though it's disco", Brand New didn't translate well to him live, and he did not like Billy Idol or Wolf Alice.

Lmao. He's native Atx and grew up listening to Seattle and Indie and basically mostly just likes rock. He said his old lady loved Floss, but she likes to get down. For him to not completely hate is an admission he was having a good time. Only other edm shows he ever admitted liking was Big G at Voodoo 2013 and Gramatik last year at acl.
One of my assistants saw Brand New on Wed night and said they were good, but it was a dud crowd. I've never seen Billy Idol and don't know enough about Wolf Alice to have an opinion. I'm not questioning his top 3 though which probably would have been mine as well unless Floss or possibly RTJ (who conflicted with Taxi & Brand New) particularly killed it.

I was highly impressed with Weeknd's headlining set. I'd list my top 5 in alphabetical order as Disclosure, Father John Misty, Sturgill Simpson, Tame Impala, and The Weeknd. Chance, Run The Jewels, and TV On The Radio would be up next on my list.
I left Drake after four songs and some banter about how much richer he would be if he had bet on the Horns over the Sooners. I couldn't get into the beginning of the set aside from the spectacular visuals and I had tickets to The Sword/Kadavar/All Them Witches. That show was great and a perfect palate cleanser. I went by Foos after Disclosure and just thought it sounded really bad. Maybe Dave is just worn out. He smacked on his gum and told the crowd he was going to yell a song at them. After leaving the simulated orgy that was The Weeknd, I stopped on the hill and listened to Florence. Wish I could have caught all of that one too.
