hopes crushed- nevermind that nonsense I posted. Can I again say I hate the way they are announcing this year?
Where's Primus on the lineup?
They were listed earlier in the blam confirmation thread, then were taken out- apparently a false rumor? Honestly I'm still in the dark about it- it's slow going checking this on my phone. I already edited my earlier post.
Seeing as everyone who was involved in the New Basement Tapes is on the lineup (except Elvis Costello), I bet we get a Bob Dylan Superjam. The songs Jim James does on that album would make for an awesome latenight
Soooo, I'm thinking that they may bring a few people for the atomic bomb show to kind of make it an unofficial second super jam which would be badass
I don't know. If they really want to honor Onyeabor's music they will probably stick to that. When I think Superjam I think of lots of covers of multiple artists being performed. Then again, Claypool and Bordello did the whole Tom Waits thing that was labeled as a Super Jam. Anyhow, it can still be super and jam without being called that.

I mean, I think they'll at least a few of the artists involved in the shows that they've already done: David Byrne, money Mike, pat Mahoney, like Jenner, etc.

New Basement Tapes would be awesome, and seems probable. However, my wish is a FlyLo SJ with Madlib, SBTRKT, Jamie xx, and EL-P as potential guests. Not to mention all the other rappers they could bring in. FlyLo and Madlib doing some kind of tribute to J DIlla would be sick!
How important is Elvis Costello to the New Basement Tapes? He's booked for the Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday of Roo across the pond. I guess he could technically fly in for Friday night, but that doesn't really look likely. Not to mention, I would bet MMJ plays Friday late night Which Stage (if Kendrick -> Deadmau5 are the Friday What Stage headliners).
Did I miss ?uestlove or the Roots being on the lineup?
You didn't miss it. It seems like this is just another example of why Bonnaroo shouldn't release the lineup in this fashion again.
Jimmy Fallon & The Roots are one act that were confirmed and seemed likely. Primus was also "confirmed". But neither are on the lineup.
Primus was announced by Duo de Twang's Twitter (I saw it first hand). So that seemed fairly legit (although that Duo de Twang Twitter account isn't verified).

Not very important. He sings lead on 4 of the 20 songs on the album. And assuming they'd do some other Dylan/non-Dylan material, you wouldn't lose much. I just want to think that the other 4 wouldn't all be there without doing something together. My only worry would be Marcus having to do the M&S set and then NBT in one night.

Yeah, Marcus doing two shows is probably pushing it. But I think he'd do at least part of the set with the rest of the gang

Or it creates a possibility of MMJ following Mumford and the superjam the other night.

Or the superjam is something completely different
I feel like Bassnectar and Deadmau5 are likely going to be on different nights. If Bassnectar is a Which Stage show, which I assume it is, and MMJ to be a late night show, which I assume it is, then MMJ will have to be on the same night as Deadmau5 (Friday night from what we know).

Right, I was forgetting about that. Well let's hope Marcus has some crazy stamina
