Wasn't Chance supposed to be in last years Super Jam? Something came up and he couldn't?
Chance cancelled shows left and right last year, I believe he was sick or something like that and he just couldn't take all the touring so he kept randomly canceling shows when he didn't feel well enough to perform. So, roo had to be happy with the fact that Chance even played the show he was scheduled for and probably weren't too surprised when he had to cancel on the SJ
Personally, I don't think he will do this at the end of the super jam (though there a minute possibility it happens.) But, if he does DJ somewhere on the grounds at some point over the weekend, my money is on him doing an unannounced show at Kalliope. I think the odds of a Kalliope show are decent, but it's still doubtful.
I am taking the stance that there is no way he is there just to do the Superjam. He will play The Other after the superjam, and I wouldnt take Kalliope off the table either.
Parade from the Superjam that ends at Kalliope where he plays a set until sunrise.

Saturday night. Kalliope. Basslights.
I don't get why people keep saying this. BassLights is a concert event where Bassnectar and Pretty Lights play separate sets over two nights. They don't play B2B.

Incorrect. They both play both nights. The only difference is that one headlines each night. So one night goes PL -> Nectar and the other goes Nectar -> PL

Pedantics. The point is that they've never played b2b. I think MiaFins was just trolling yall anyway.

The point is, they are friends, and very easily could play together sometime in the night now. It's personally not a big deal either way, but I feel it's most likely happening.

That's what I meant, but I could see how original wording wasn't clear. When's the last time Bassnectar and Pretty Lights went b2b, if ever?

Please find me video or audio of PL and Bassnectar ever playing together.

how would that even work? What would be the point? Two laptops on stage. Each hit play at the exact same time, resulting in an assault of uncoordinated sounds blaring tthrough 70,000 watts of bass-ful bliss and an unforgettable light show filled with cryogenics, lasers and serial beams, this stage is yours for the taking.

But how will they link the laptops?!?!?! SMPTE? MIDI time code? I fear fer the audio engineer!
Sorry Bonnaroo, but Newport just beat your superjam
They are basically doing a "Bacon Special". Haven't you wanted a Dylan-themed Superjam for a few years now?
I'm so excited for that. The 80's Superjam will be fun as hell but I don't think it'll have the same excitement as other recent Superjams for me. The Newport Sunday show will be killer.

Superjam wise I've wanted The Band more then Dylan, but at Newport with the people they draw it can't get any better than that
What am I missing here? Newport Folk Festival? Don't see any Superjam.
The Sunday act that will close the festival is something like "Revisiting 65" which is sounding like it'll be an all-star/guests set featuring Bob Dylan songs.

A different festival called Newport Folk is having some musicians play Bob Dylan covers and people are bragging about it in the Bonnaroo Superjam thread for some reason

I cant think of anything more boring than Bob Dylan tunes and Roger Waters rambling way to long between songs. Ill take the chance of Super Freak any day.
