They kept making me empty my camel pak, but otherwise real easy.
Not sure if you'd know this, but would a festival security team ever make someone empty a water bottle full of ice? I've done this at Bonnaroo before and have gotten lucky, but not sure how strict Coachella would be.
There's nothing better than being able to drink ice-cold water from a water bottle all day at a music festival.
It's luck just like everything else. Both times I had to dump my water someone in front of me had gone in with a full one. But I did it happily because they basically stopped searching after they yelled about the water.

every day was different for security for me, friday they were pretty thorough, checking all the different zippers of my bag, saturday was super chill they barely looked in my bag or patted me down, but sunday the woman flipped my bad upside down and completely emptied it, unfolded the multiple articles of clothing in my bag, and grabbed my dick for a solid ten seconds. didnt like it.
No matter how many times I see the same RTJ show I still enjoy it.
Bradford Cox is the fucking man.
Anderson is high on my list of acts I want to see. I felt the same way about Bob Moses the one time I saw them live. The part of Deerhunter's set I caught on the weekend one stream was really good. Loved those horns.

Bob Moses looked weak on the stream. When I saw them in Miami, they were pretty good, but the venue ramped up the bass so high that it was hard to hear the nuanced details in their songs.
I dunno. They got a lot of mehs for their performance in weekend one on the stream.
Also, tЯist♡n, what part of Sia's show are you talking about being prerecorded? The video on the screens? Whereas I liked that as a vehicle for cameos, I can see how it robbed the crowd of the actual dancers on stage. The female dancer in particular was amazing weekend one on the stream.
To be fair, I only considered their music to be "decent" in the first place. But everyone raves about them so much I figured I'd give em a whirl live and I liked it even less.

Also, I barely had to wait in line for anything. I was realizing that on Sunday. Never waited for the bathroom, never waited for food, the shower line in the campsite took under 20 minutes, and generally under 10. I waited about 15 minutes one day for security and that was the worst of it.

just the prerecorded video was kind of obvious since it was windy as fuck on stage and not in the video. And then you can't see her and I was just wondering what parts were actually real - still loved the set though.
And Bob Moses was good but the fact that it was about 9000 degrees when they played made it a little harder to enjoy.

I mean, I think that was the whole point.
i thought the point was for people to think the stuff on the screens was happening on stage.
If you woke up from a coma in the middle of the polo fields and weren't allowed to look at the state of the grass, neither you nor anyone would have a fucking clue whether you were at W1 or W2 based on the "vibes" or your self-professed intuition about who's there "for the music, man."
You feed yourself a narrative because it makes you feel better about your choice. Nothing more.
Haha dude, you've gotta relax and take that tone down. I've read on the coachella boards that the crowds are more relaxed W2.
How many years have you gone both weekends? I'm surprised that you haven't seen any notable differences in the crowd.
And again, consider unclenching.
If you were only in the first several hundred people trotting out the retarded VIBEZ and the HERE FOR THE MUSIC tripe, you might get a pass. Company you keep and all though.
