That's too bad. It's been a few years since I last saw him.
I saw them at Shaky knees in 2014 (post jade) and thought they were amazing. It was my 5th time seeing them and honestly thought that it was one of the tightest sounding sets I've heard them play. The band felt very in tune with each other. But I get it was over a year ago now, was 2015 not good?
I know they canceled a few shows because of "voice issues". I had tix for the Saturday show in Chicago during Fare Thee Well and it was one that got canceled.
I've heard Sia numerous times, supposedly she is going to be at Governors Ball too. Since she never tours and is a pretty rare show, I'd say that's not too terrible.
Also, Jack U is closing the Main after LCD. I'd look for Jack U to be up against Underworld and with the typical Coachella crowd you'll probably able to snag a pretty damn good spot for it!

There is absolutely zero chance this happens
Your logic is sound, but when someone comes in a week before the lineup drop and gives us new information that turns out to be right there is more value to anything else they say than our logic and opinion. They clearly have access to good information.
And a Skrillex/Diplo collaborative set doesn't play a stage (Sahara) that would create safety concerns due to overcrowding. Jack U is closing Main.
I could see Jack U closing the main (and almost - almost want to see it happen, because maybe they'd put Underworld in the Sahara), but to suggest there's any overcrowding issue with Jack U in the Sahara seems a bit silly. That place is fucking massive, and has hosted acts just as big as Jack U before.
True, but not acts who bring their own production. Most acts that play in the Sahara use the house production, however Jack U is debuting their touring production at Coachella this year, much like Kaskade did last year.

Ratatat played the Sahara with their own production just last year.
Perspective, comparing what Ratatat had to the early build specs on the Jack U rig they're not even comparable, trust me this is what I do for a living.
Lol that would have been an improvement over G-Eazy and Rae Sremmurd
G-Eazy is trash, but I don't have a problem with Rae Sremmurd. At least they're trying to be fun, and not just mumbling a bunch of narcoleptic struggle bars over the same boring ass beats.

Ha more like g-cheazy. Dude is booty.
I laughed.
I would have been down with some Fetty Wap, not gonna lie. Can live without Future and Thugger though.
Rae Sremmurd at Fun Fun Fun was actually really good. Lots of energy, played entire songs, good flow in the set. Of course they fell into the classic rapper pitfall of just having their vocal tracks played the whole song, but eh, I'm used to that by now.
