Ugh. I am getting more and more certain that this will end up as the ridiculously packed Thursday show this year like Alt-J was.
You really think they are as big as Alt J was? Asking out of curiosity. I'm excited for the show, but I don't feel like album is anywhere near as big or interesting as Awesome Wave. In fact, I don't know a person in real life who knows who jungle is. Only you internet goons.

Right now? No. Alt-J wasn't nearly as popular in January as they were in June the year they played. I am looking ahead at the line-up and thinking who I think could pop between now and June. Jungle is an act that may not be huge now but appears to be converting people at a pretty good rate when people do listen to them.

Hell, I'll be the first to admit that I had no clue who Jungle was before the lineup dropped - now I'm listening to them almost every day at the gym, sometimes singing Julia in the shower, and they are absolutely on my top 15 to see at Roo. Jungle and Glass Animals have been my two favorite discoveries since the lineup dropped and i am praying to the lineup gods for no thursday night conflict between the two
Glass Animals, also fantastic. I haven't gotten into them with the same level of enthusiasm as i have with JUNGLE, but I think they have a great sound and I'm really hoping I can make their set. Glass Animals v. JUNGLE, though, and I'm JUNGLE all the way.

Glass Animals is great live too. So fantastically awkward on stage. I hope they don't conflict. If they do I'll probably go to Glass Animals, despite having seen them already. I can see Glass Animals having a packed tent though. If that were the case I'd go over to a hopefully less packed Jungle set.
Glass Animals, also fantastic. I haven't gotten into them with the same level of enthusiasm as i have with JUNGLE, but I think they have a great sound and I'm really hoping I can make their set. Glass Animals v. JUNGLE, though, and I'm JUNGLE all the way.
The brother and I have been having this discussion, about who we'd go see if this did happen, and he's siding more with Glass Animals but i can't see myself missing the dance party that this set most certainly will be.
I'm conflicted: I really want them to get LN but then also know if they aren't LN, I'll probably have fewer conflicts.
I call this the "conflict conflict." I'm having the same issue with Tycho. Though, I've decided Tycho should get a sunset spot.
Absolutely. I really want Tycho at sunset. I'll be mad if they get some weird 3/4 pm ish spot, but sunset would be great because they're another one that is bound to conflict with a lot of my wanna-sees if they're LN.

I saw these guys last night. Went into it thinking it would be conflict resolution and I wouldn't have to worry about missing them at Roo. They immediately jumped in my top 5 must sees. If you're on the fence about seeing these guys do not miss it. One of the best shows I've been to and it was with a shit crowd, I can't imagine how great it will be at the Farm. They need the LN spot on Thursday because that light setup was on point too.

Sometimes when I'm listening to these guys, I think "Man, I can't wait to see them at roo." Then I remember I'm not going to Roo this year and I get incredibly, incredibly sad.

That's how I felt after Modest Mouse a few weeks ago - went in thinking that maybe it would serve as conflict resolution for Modest Mouse at Firefly because I'm quite sure they're gonna be up against something else I really want to see, but now I just feel extra motivated to catch their FF set too. And SUPER MOTIVATED to see Jungle, fuck yaaaaaa.
Also, makes me sad to click on this thread and read my post from a couple months ago where I thought I was definitely gonna be at Roo.

I was at the show last night too with the same idea - conflict resolution. I actually wasnt all that impressed with them. The band was tight as hell, the vocals left something to be desired and honestly remove the lights and there was nothing to me that was different than putting on their CD. I wanted the chick to open up on the vocals and the one time she did it was totally off key. By no means would I call the show "bad", I just wanted more I guess and at least now, I know I can skip them on Thursday. One thing we can agree on, that crowd was absolute shit.
They're playing in Dallas on Wednesday and i can't go because i won't have my vehicle that day or a way to get up there. So i HAVE to see them at Bonnaroo, even if they conflict with Glass Animals.
