I saw these guys last night. Went into it thinking it would be conflict resolution and I wouldn't have to worry about missing them at Roo. They immediately jumped in my top 5 must sees. If you're on the fence about seeing these guys do not miss it. One of the best shows I've been to and it was with a shit crowd, I can't imagine how great it will be at the Farm. They need the LN spot on Thursday because that light setup was on point too.
I was at the show last night too with the same idea - conflict resolution. I actually wasnt all that impressed with them. The band was tight as hell, the vocals left something to be desired and honestly remove the lights and there was nothing to me that was different than putting on their CD. I wanted the chick to open up on the vocals and the one time she did it was totally off key. By no means would I call the show "bad", I just wanted more I guess and at least now, I know I can skip them on Thursday. One thing we can agree on, that crowd was absolute shit.
Man I thought they sounded great. I was just dancing the whole time though, so I admit if they were off key at times, I probably didn't notice. Maybe my expectations we low, but I had a great great time. A few overpriced beers probably helped.
I would be SUPER pumped for this show if it werent for the fact that Glass Animals have a 90% chance of conflicting with them to some extent. I've learned to always assume the worst when it comes to the schedule. On the bright side, if they don't end up overlapping I'll be double plumped!!! Fingers crossed!

Double Plumped- may I use that at some point?! I am sure you meant double pumped, but plumped just feels better!
May Tycho May Phoenix June Rooo July MMJ and Margo Price August Queen with Adam Lambert August Roger Waters (Bucket list #1) August Spoon and Portugal the man Sept Depeche Mode Sept Pilgrimage Fest
I like the Glass Animals album way more, so if they don't conflict, I'll check these guys out based on your recommendations. You usually come through.
Jungle fucking crushes glass animals.
Glass Animals fucking crushes Jungle.
*I did this to make a point. See how stupid my post sounds to you? Yours sounded just as dumb to me. It's music. It's subjective. Your post served no purpose.

It did. It was krisplettuce's way of stating his opinion, which he is entitled to both having and expressing. You say as much.
I also happen to agree with krisp's opinion, but that's neither here nor there.
They where already in my top 10 of must see bands at Roo, but now they're locked in! Great energy and they put on a kick ass show. Heres hoping Glass Animals & Jungle don't conflict....(fingers crossed)

After watching their Coachella set, I am most excited about Jungle now. They are my #1 for the whole weekend. Odeza, Ew&F, and Flumes LN sets and Billy Joel round out my top 5
Goddamn. When I grabbed The Heat ep back at the end of 2013, I thought me talking about Jungle was going to forever fall on deaf ears. Their 'Roo show is going to be one of most satisfyingly fun dance parties of all time.

Yeah I think I'll be checking out Jungle if I can. Good thing for NYers is that Jungle and Glass Animals are both playing free shows this summer, after Roo.

Phew, almost forget to plug this shameless self-quote where I predicted Thursday night tent about a year ago before the album even dropped. And yes AC Ent. I will consider an offer to join the booking team.
Just got back from Jungle. Great show. They don't have the most material so it wasn't very long, but they sounded awesome. I was expecting it to be much more crowded since they were just on tv, but I got the impression we were the biggest crowd they've played for. They were very humble and thanked the crowd at least a few times. After the show someone spotted one of the main guys and he hopped a fence to come meet us and take pictures. I know I found out about Jungle on Inforoo, so.. whoever is responsible for that, thank you.
I was there last night as well. I thought they sounded quite good live. Their tracks are so smooth to dance too. Can't wait to see them again after the album comes out.
Bonnaroo 2015 Thursday night tent sounds good to me.
This thread needs more love! I can't see how this Thursday show won't be off the hook. I'm going to try to get there early because it might be hard to get anywhere near the That Tent.

Actually don't think it will be that crowded. Most people will be at Mac or Gramatik.

I think you'll be surprised. These guys are riding a wave of hype after the year they've had.

CoS did a Sasquatch review that ordered the artists from worst to best, and they had the audacity to put Jungle dead last. The reason? They complained that they couldn't tell when one song ended and when another began. Blech.

Every Thursday night set is too crowded. But I agree, Jungle will be the least crowded of the three

I mean COS and anything they're involved with is shit. What would you expect?
