Every morning for the last two weeks I've jumped out of bed and onto the internet to check and see if the additions were somehow announced in the dead of night while I was asleep. It's starting to get unhealthy.
Rando from Reddit claims next week, so that must be true!!!! Jump outta bed next week, and you won't be disappointed. #trustinreddit
I would guess there would be at least 15 significant artists to be added. 60 total but 15 that actually make an impact. 3-5 in the top 20 I feel still..
I'm just curious what constitutes "big news". I mean, artist additions or the comedy lineup isn't really big news to me - it's standard news. Happens every year.
Edit - So it would have to be something out of the ordinary for it to be big news. At least to me.

The guy says "big news" because it's vague and if ANYTHING is announced they can then look back and say "See!? I told you news was coming".
Reddit guy is back. Like most of you I strongly hesitate to believe this is true, but here is the link
lol
Maybe that one person on Reddit was right. Bonnaroo shelled out $5m for a Grateful Dead reunion, and they agreed to it because they want a warm-up show for their July 4th weekend final run.
Last week the poster was claiming there would be a big add to boost slow ticket sales. What their definition of a big add is? Who knows. I would guess we get comedy adds before artist additions, and I'd be surprised if we get anything bigger then something around 15 or so on the lineup.

So lame.
Yeah, but why would this person roll the dice on this week? Is this person's life so void of meaning that they have to post obscure shit on an internet board to get people all worked up? Does it really get them off when their vague statements are somewhat right? I just don't see how this makes any sense or who would do this type of thing.

Very lame. Even lamer? Those that are saying that Bonnaroo (or any festival) only drop on certain days of the week and then them arguing about it. O.o

Oh, well. I guess only time will tell. I'd be happy to get some big news, but I'm going to remain skeptical. Hopes have been shattered far too often.
haven't heard anything - Just based on the promo schedule from past years, additions should be coming in the next few weeks, but I haven't heard anything specific either on when or who. Been too busy with work and real life stuff lately to really nose around.
Since I live in between Cincinnati and Columbus, we always get Roo artists the week of Roo. Rob Zombie was just announced for Cincinnati and it looks like he has the 13th off before heading to Indy.

Now, this would be really interesting. I'm wondering if he would pop down to TN before going to Indy? He is only playing one other festival in June, too.

I hope not I seen rob zombie at mayhem fest a couple of years ago and he sounded horrible

I saw Zombie before Korn years back. Zombie killed it, Korn was just awful live.

Obviously I want a few more awesome bands/artists, but I'd be pretty okay with a 65-70,000 person Bonnaroo. They'd still more than break even, and it wouldn't be hell to navigate through the fest.
