Yeah, but why would this person roll the dice on this week? Is this person's life so void of meaning that they have to post obscure shit on an internet board to get people all worked up? Does it really get them off when their vague statements are somewhat right? I just don't see how this makes any sense or who would do this type of thing.
Oh, well. I guess only time will tell. I'd be happy to get some big news, but I'm going to remain skeptical. Hopes have been shattered far too often.
haven't heard anything - Just based on the promo schedule from past years, additions should be coming in the next few weeks, but I haven't heard anything specific either on when or who. Been too busy with work and real life stuff lately to really nose around.
I gotta give it to you for keeping up the schtik even though not one person takes you seriously.
I saw Zombie before Korn years back. Zombie killed it, Korn was just awful live.
At mayhem festival?
No, gulf coast, Gulfport back in 99 I think. Korn was hot then, but I've seen them twice at festivals since then, and their show has always sucked. I saw Zombie in 99, 03, and i think 2010 or 11. All were at least good shows. He isn't for everyone, but Bonnaroo could do a lot worse.

I saw Korn open for Slipknot a couple of months ago. While I don't really like Korn's music, they were pretty good live if you're into that type of thing.
Widespread Panic replacing Allman Brothers Band in 2008 was prefaced as "big news". Keep your expectations low, kidos.
They replaced the allmans and got Jack Johnson's headlining spot. However you feel about wsmfp, it's fair to call a headliner change "big news."
I'd be surprised to see something that big happen. Switching headliners only a month after the lineup announcement? I'm intrigued as to what this "big news" will be.

I'm not at all saying that is the big news.
I'm saying mkone post was made for the sole purpose of shizzing on widespread panic.

Oh you and your ~real life stuff~. None of the rest of us here are familiar with what that means? WE LIVE IN COMPUTERS HERE BLEEEEP BBLOOOPP.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
If any zombie is going to be added hopefully it's flatbush zombies
I saw them as a Flatbush and I saw "Indigo Clockwork" or whatever they call it when they perform with Joey and Pro Era and Underachievers (or whatever the combo is) and I saw Joey a couple times, this was all just last year, I would LOVE any of those shows on the farm and they'd be absolutely amazing.

Saw that tour in Sunrise, FL with KoRn and Rob Zombie when I was like 13. Loved that show.

I saw that show here in NOLA, and both were great. As soon as I get paid, I am buying Rob Zombie tickets at the Civic for his upcoming tour.
I seriously hope nobody on this board is expecting anything. Reddit troll is troll, you're better than this inforoo, stay classy.
Thank you, it disappoints me to see this from info roo. Like, could you imagine if someone did the same thing on Inforoo as that guy is doing over there?! They'd tar and feather him and run him out of town. I'd LOVE to see Rory's smart ass responses to him and him mocking the few new folk who actually took it seriously

I dont ecpect additions to mid March, and thats taking to account how early everything was this year. Remember, we still most likely wouldnt of had a lineup as of now, at least in my past 6 years if I recall.
The lineup is really just nothing special as of now. It seems like we are just missing lines 3 & 4 somehow, and I dont expect any additions to break the top 5.
On the other hand, Thursday is turning out to have everything I want to see. Im not really happy about it, but it will eliminate conflicts for the weekend.
New album in May, playing Gov. Ball the week before, Atomic Bomb already playing Roo, open dates until June 18 in Europe. Book it AC Ent!
I honestly wonder if Alexis Taylor is even playing with Atomic Bomb. What with being in the studio with Hot Chip, then touring before Bonnaroo, I wonder if he'd be sandwiching in time to practice with the Atomic Bomb folks. You would think his bandmates in Hot Chip might be like "hey, love that you've got this little side project, but we've got a record to sell and a tour to prep for, so would you mind rehearsing with us?"

I thought the same about David Byrne. He has those Contemporary Color shows with St. Vincent and several others just two weeks after Bonnaroo. Is he really going to ditch a one of a kind performance curated by him in its final stages of planning to run to Bonnaroo?

I believe that if David Byrne was going to be there the lineup would have a "featuring David Byrne" on it. That being said Atomic Bomb is listed way to high for him not to be there.

For what it's worth, Atomic Bomb just played Sydney Festival, and this was the lineup:
"William Onyeabor’s music is brought to life for two exclusive shows by a 18-strong ensemble led by Sinkane, Money Mark, Luke Jenner (The Rapture), Pharoah Sanders and Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem), with special guests Gotye and the legendary Mahotella Queens."

I could see them announcing it at some point if Byrne will be involved (similar to how they announced/confirmed that John Paul Jones would play with Seasick Steve after the initial lineup dropped) but until Bonnaroo comes out and says he'll be there I wouldn't hold my breath. That's too big to leave to a surprise appearance.
