Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Last I checked, this was an artist addition thread for BONNAROO. Don't talk about FF, GB, Lolla, Chella on here. Like really? No one has time for that. Strictly Bonnaroo acts that could potentially be added based on your own preference or based on their tour dates.
Yeah, because artists playing other festivals totally doesn't mean they could be added or anything.

People bring up other fest's lineup when addressing who they would like/expect because the fact that an artist is doing one festival, usually makes them more likely to do other festivals too. Morrissey and Modest Mouse doing Firefly would mean they're both active and neither have dates scheduled that would conflict with Bonnaroo. So how about you calm down. Yes, LIKE REALLY. And I'm shocked to hear that people don't "don't have time for that" when you're wasting your time reading around an Internet forum about a music festival. If Inforoo is what you consider serious business, I can't imagine what you do in your free time
That last post was for the person on here who shat on the Roo lineup, and praised Firefly.
Haha, ok, ok, I thought you were responding to me. I apologize and agree that simple discussion of other lineups should stay out of this thread, but it makes sense that we should discuss potential crossover acts
I mean seriously, where does it say what festival this is for? And "bad lineup" could include over half of the festivals this year. So I can understand the confusion.
More names are likely to be added to the lineup. Since the lineup is so bad I'm guessing we already want to talk about additions. Within the realm of possibility, what are some acts you think are likely to be thrown in?

Just to clarify, I wasnt shizzing on the Roo lineup. I have attended for four years straight and already have my ticket this year. Bonnaroo will always be the best festival in my opinion based purely on the environment it takes place in. I was merely stating that some acts on the FF lineup would have looked nice on the Roo's. Also I am still hoping for some crossover acts, of which so could be on that lineup. Sorry for the confusion. Just figured if a band/act was on another lineup and scheduling was right it would be possible to get them. Such as Modest Mouse, Matt and Kim, Walk the Moon, Weezer, Noel Gallagher & the High Flying Birds.
On a positive note, my post def brought more people to the discussion today!!! Hope all is well!!!!

The guy brings in a lineup leak and just gets shit on. Its a great POSSIBLE lineup, and I would love to see some of these ARTISTS ADDED TO BONNAROO 2015.

All of this^^^ The leak gives me hope. Whether or not its viable, its fucking hope. Lord knows I need some because for me personally, that firefly lineup (if true in its entirety) would be just about the only thing on Gods green earth that would sway me from going to Roo. Main thing holding me to Roo is Florence, oh and the $1500 VIP tickets that aren't refundable and don't ship until mid May so they are next to impossible to sell. But honestly, mostly Florence.

With the recent acts that have been taking part in the Atomic Bomb sets, anyone think there's a chance we get a solo set from Kele (Bloc Party)? He's doing a solo set at Coachella and a couple other international fests this summer, that'd be a nice get!
CoS says Byrne is in for Atomic Bomb.. Think they know something we don't? Or are they talking out of their butts?
As a twentysomething, my opportunities to see Talking Heads have been quite limited. And for anyone who has seen the legendary Stop Making Sense live performance, David Byrne and co. are definitely waiting to be checked off the bucket list. With the chances of ever seeing Talking Heads truly reunite growing more and more minute by the year, the Atomic Bomb! Band becomes the next best opportunity. Reportedly taking on the Nigerian electro-funk of William Onyeabor alongside Byrne during a performance at Bonnaroo 2015 will be Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, the band Sinkane, plus other talented guest musicians. It isn’t the Super-Jam, but for many it might be the set of the weekend. –Derek Staples

We need some Beck up this bisnitch, he could be the anti-Kanye of this year.
so a dull and unengaging show that has no one talking about it?
Ehm, I personally found Kanye's show last year to be extremely unengaging, self indulgent, and really disjointed. The weird >5 minute autotune talk-sing thing about him being the best in the world was particularly off putting. I'm not a fan of Kanye's but was willing to overlook past transgressions and enjoy the show and.. just didn't. The majority of people I spoke to were of the same opinion. Instead of breaking down in to monologues consistently, he should us just blasted everyone's face off with his music, alas I feel he did not.
And maybe you haven't been to a Beck concert but his show's are quite engaging IMHO. I saw him this past summer and he start slow and ephemeral with Sea Changes and Morning Phase and kept on amping it up, peaking with Jack White joining the show and doing a rendition of Pay No Mind. Beck could do a LN set of just Midnite Vultures and I bet people would love the shit out of it. Maybe you don't like Beck, which is cool, but to call him unengaging and dull is just wrong.

I'm not a huge Kanye fan, don't love him and don't hate him. I got in the pit last year because there wasn't much of a line and got to see Vampire Weekend while waiting. I thought his show was amazing. Could I have done without his rants? Sure, but he put on a very good show.
