I just put all of the announced artists into my schedule template from last year, and I was left with 8 blanks on Thursday and 8 more blanks on Fri-Sun (combined). That's just the What/Which/Tents (not Sonic Stage, Cafe Where, etc.).
Of course there is a ton of guessing in this exercise, but unless I'm missing something completely obvious, we're in for a lot of artist additions PLUS comedy acts, cafes, etc.
Last year, for the initial lineup, no comedy or cafe, we had 120 acts.

With the lineup being released so early, there might be a chance in getting some at least well known additions. Between acts they still were trying to get signed on, and acts that are contractually obligated to not announce anything until the tour wraps who knows. But I am totally fine with the lineup as is.
Really though has bonnaroo ever added someone major after the initial release, besides Empire Of The Sun?
They added Santigold one year. She's not huge, but she did play What on a Saturday afternoon.
That was 2012. They not only added Santigold, but also
Rodrigo y Gabriela and CUBA Kenny Rogers fun. Danzig Puscifer GZA w/ Grupo Fantasma Unchained Sam Bush Colin Hay The Cave Singers The Temper Trap The Civil Wars, I think. and several more I'm blanking on.
2012 was the last year they added significant artists. But I can definitely see that happening again this year.

they're going to have to add something of value because i really can't see this lineup moving that many tickets.
I always hope for Butch Walker. I don't know if anyone on here is a fan. He's got a new album coming out soon, so i thought for sure he'd be on the lineup this year. I'm crossing my fingers!
The Pixies were a late add for Coachella last year, right? The Pixies would be a nice rock name at the top of a lineup headlined by pop stars.
And I think we all need to find a way to flood Bonnaroo with requests for DFA79 and Hot Chip. It's bull that they let two killer live bands who either have never played or last played in 2007, and are touring the US at that time, pass right on by. (I don't even care if they're booked for Forecastle.)

They should late add Polyphonic Spree singing only "Hold Me Now" with Flaming Lips songs thrown in between.
Setlist: Hold Me Now Be My Head (Flaming Lips Cover) Hold Me Now Frogs (Flaming Lips Cover) Hold Me Now Hit Me Like You Did the First Time (Flaming Lips Cover) Hold Me Now Drug Chart (Flaming Lips Cover) Hold Me Now
Encore: Hold Me Now She Don't Use Jelly (Flaming Lips Cover) Hold Me Now The Distance (Cake Cover)

Pixies Tame Impala Modest Mouse TV on the Radio Spiritualized Wild Beasts The Antlers Ryan Adams D'Angelo The Weeknd The Budos Band BADBADNOTGOOD FKA twigs Hundred Waters Todd Terje Ratatat Hot Chip Kaytranada Ryan Hemsworth Shlohmo Tinariwen Akalé Wubé
It's always possible that Hot Chip will be added. Given what you've listed I strongly recommend you check out the three that you mentioned (Caribou, SBTRKT, ODESZA) all three of which I've seen put up crazy fun dance parties, as well as the following: Jamie xx, Tycho, MØ, and Jungle. There are many more on the lineup, those are just the four that I personally can't wait to seriously get down to.
edit. Basically just keep perusing the lineup. I'd put money down that you'll find several bands that'll satisfy that indie-dance urge to get down.
Im curious as to how this Tycho show is going to go down, hopefully roo doesn't screw us and have them play like at 4pm
Well according to the schedule confirmation. Caribou is getting the shaft by playing Sunday instead of a LN. Most likely in the Washed Out spot.
Reminder who played in the time slot
Arctic Monkeys vs Warpaint vs Washed Out... Ouch.
So who knows who Caribou will be stacked up against.
