Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think what Bonnaroo has been trying to do is keep Bonnaroo in the media as long as possible leading up to Roo. In November they had the presale announced which began on Black Friday, then 12 days of Roo Clues in December. Follow that up with a lineup drop in January. I suspect that this will lead into three rounds of artist additions ala 2012. A mid February drop with a top 15-25ish name. Artist additions in mid March possibly with Comedy. Artist additions in April with Cafe acts. Finally a schedule release in May. This will help them keep the steam building until the festival itself.

Walk the Moon is somebody I thought for sure we would see move up to a weekend tent this year. I thought their 2013 Thursday set was a good show and they seem to be gaining popularity with the new single.

NICOLAS JAAR
maybe for rmba but did they have acts like that there last year? i missed last year.
viet cong should be a shoe-in cafe act. their album is rly great.
mew put out a new song and the album is out 4/27. few bands would get me more excited as an addition for roo as mew. new single here: plusminus.mewsite.com
Has anyone noticed that last year (excluding superjams) Roo had about 190 bands on the lineup, and right now there are just under 100? I'm feeling a serious undercard release in February that's going to fill in alot of missing spaces with bands we had all hoped would be on this initial lineup release. If this has already been discussed, sorry, I didn't feel like catching up after a week of inactivity.

Just a thought.
Have you done Bonnaroo before?
There will be some additions to the full line-up. There's never been more than about 15 typically spread out in clusters between 1-6 names leading up through May.
There will also be:
10-20 comedians added 10-20 DJs added for the Silent Disco and, 30-40 cafe acts.

There's the rest of your lineup.
I've done Bonnaroo before. I also gave y'all the headliners + about 10 other acts about 2 months ago, so don't sass me.
I'm confused about being right on every band except for Alt-J and Modest Mouse, which I'm assuming are being announced in the near future (and holding out hope for Matt and Kim still).

I just can't help but think that after the publicity (thanksgiving special) Roo got last year that they would follow it up with something this weak. Also, this was wayyyy early to announce their lineup. Dont get me wrong, I love most of the lineup, but compared to last year there are some major holes. I get that they haven't announced comedians and cafe acts and DJ's and all that shit, but I bet were in for more big name undercard acts than normally released after the initial release. Thats my opinion.

You're just not saying anything that hasn't been said by about 100 other people. Whether or not it's happening this thread is useless. There's already the Artist Additions thread that was linked earlier and this subject has been discussed in a couple other threads as well. Keep up
