I have a feeling some people will wince at this. But my gut's telling me that Kevin Hart is going to be on the comedy lineup.
No one winces at the Comedy lineup, they just get relieved that they won't miss music.
First-timer here this year. Certainly looking to see a comedy show or two; what have everyone's favorites been in the past? And what's the best way/typical wait time to get tickets to the bigger names?
1/30: Cold War Kids
2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists
6/11-6/14: BONNAROO 2015
6/28: Against Me!
6/30: Against Me!

only seen tosh and john waters. Both were good, and good way to get out of the sun, if you are out there. Best way is go and ask details about a show you want to see the day before. Sometimes they give away tickets earlier in the day for a show, but most of time it's a couple hours beforehand if I remember right.
I think the likes of Modest Mouse and Beck are out for sure. They said they're not announcing any more headliners and both would definitely be considered as such.
Tame Impala is a very soft possibility, though I'm thinking more along the lines of Toro y Moi, Best Coast, Orwells...that kind of thing.
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

PRAY for Mr. Oizo.
Yeah I was hoping for Beck, but after the reddit it's definitely not happening. Tame Impala and Lana Del Ray and my 2 biggest wants, but there is plenty i'd be happy with, including the lineup already. No conflicts is always nice.
I would love this but he is booked for the Ryman on May 27 so maybe not likely for Roo? He has Roo dates open but the omnipresent radius clause looms...
I'm no expert on contracts but I doubt all artists get the radius clause. Like tallest man on earth, no body is going to to not go to roo because they can see him at the ryman. I would think it would just apply to the bigger names. I could be wrong. Though I realize it is unlikely due to him being close within a month of roo (whether the clause applies or not). I just got excited for the new album on the horizon!
I'm not familiar with Todd Terje, but Ratatat and Nic Jaar as additions would be absolutely amazing. Nic is gonna be in the UK the weekend before Roo though, which I think makes him less likely.

I would think that it's just cafe acts from here out. Otherwise, wouldn't it have made some sense to build some excitement/suspense/anticipation of additions? The way the question was answered told me all I needed to know about the potential of any significant additions.

They have 25 artists less in the main line-up than last years. So unless each day is starting at 3 p.m. instead of noon, we're getting additions.
Oh right. I forgot Jack White can't fill an arena and Deadmau5 just chooses to sell only the lower level of the arenas he plays...
If Jack White could fill arenas he'd play arenas.
This is dumb. They both play a mix of arenas, theatres and fests. The big difference is he's Jack White, he was in the White Stripes. Deadmau5 is not on that level. If they were on the same lineup Jack would be listed ahead of Deadmau5.

Its dumb to say if an artist could sell 20,000 tickets or 5,000 tickets he would choose to sell 20,000 tickets? Jack white played two arenas on his last tour, one in his hometown and one in NYC, the rest were 5,000 capacity theaters. Jack White isn't arena status yet, while Deadmau5's last tour was an arena tour and the next one is too

Admittedly I don't keep up enough with Deadmau5/edm to know, does he play 30 plus show tours like Jack/rock bands do? Seems like he mostly plays fests.
Bottom line is this, if Deadmau5 was on last year's lineup he would have been 4th and if Jack was this year he'd be 3rd.

I don't remember deadmau5 playing too many arenas on his big tour. He did play a massive one in Canada, but that's his home country. Jack White would definitely be billed over deadmau5.
