This might not be a super popular opinion, but Florence/Childish conflict would really really kill me....
I would not like that either. I haven't seen Florence in years and Childish Gambino had sound issues at the end of his set at ACL and he dropped the mic and walked off stage because of it. I would like to see them both.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'd be extremely happy with Ben Folds > Kendrick because I could just camp and get pit for Kendrick. There are only two things that would bum me out: 1. EWF vs. Bella and Sebastian 2. Robert Plant (end) vs. Slayer (beginning)
Using clashfinder, I think there may be 15-20 more acts to be added. The Bluegrass tent is overcrowded and kind of dumb because you're putting popular, well-known names early in the day.
Anyway, first rough draft edition (will edit when more names come out):
Also have noticed a lot of "Thursday acts" on this lineup, especially bottom half. A lot of known edm artists with more little-know rock/folk/indie artists. Kind of makes scheduling tough.

Your mock schedule kills me in a few places... Spoon same time as Guster? Ben Folds same time as Florence?! That would really slay me.

From what we've heard, Kendrick and Deadmau5 will be more of a Stevie Wonder - Jay-Z situation. They're co-headliners and will both be largely unopposed with maybe a little overlap on either end.
Robert Plant seems to be the consensus Sunday preheadliner before Billy (at least in this thread). I get it because he had that same spot before WSP in 2011.
But if we look at more recent schedules...
2012: Bon Iver > Phish 2013: The National > Tom Petty 2014: Avett Bros > Sir Elton
I just feel like Robert Plant could close Which on Sunday and maybe we see Alabama Shakes as someone already suggested (kind of similar to Zac Brown > DMB in 2010). If they follow the last three years though, who fits that category?

I was curious as to why everybody is choosing Friday for Kendrick and Mau5? If the rumors are true for the new basement tapes superjam on Saturday, do you really assume Mumford will headline saturday and then Marcus will race to tbe superjam? I dont see that happening.

I'm assuming you're saying Hozier would play the first set of the LN on which like Ice Cube. So, IF MMJ does play the same night as Mumford, they will either be the only act to play Which LN or an electronic act (bassnectar) will play first and MMJ second. Also, just delaying the super jam so Mumford can have a little more time to get to the SJ is easier and logistically better to have Marcus headline and then do the Superjam than it is to have bassnectar on the Which after deadmau5 because the migration from Deadmau5 to Bassnectar would be the biggest, most dangerous movement of people ever on the farm.

I was thinking Hozier pre What HL, MMJ post What HL.
As for Marcus Mumford headlining and the doing the superjam, i dont see that as being easy. If they play any amount over the superjam is going to start really late. People would be pissed. Mumford uses a lot of energy in his shows, he'd be pretty winded for the superjam. Im going to assume the Mumford and Sons will be there all weekend because they like to collaborate with fellow artists.
As for Mua5 into Nectar, i dont see how this would be much different than any HL ending and everybody migrating over to the which or any of the tents. Thats the great thing about Bonnaroo, there is a lot of diversity and people with different tastes. Its not like everybody from Mau5 is going to Bassnectar.

Most of the crowd from deadmau5 WOULD go to Bassnectar though, that's the difference. In stead of people scattering after the headliner, damn near everybody at deadmau5 would dance their way over to Bassnectar. This being said, I'm gonna work on a lineup to fit what you're proposing though, you know, cause it's so important and there's nothing better to do...
my favorite thread about Bonnaroo..............here we ago Friday..........which.......hozier.......Florence................bass(late night) what ben folds.......plant.......mumford
Saturday...which........tears for fears..........childish gambino.........sts9 (late night) what................... 7ish ben harper .....................9ish kendrick lamar...........11ish deadmous5

Oh man.. This made it's way to the inforoo FB page. Got all the folks freakin'
Ok, sooooo. I made this just going off of acts I think could realistically get latenights (except for King Gizz, that's just a personal wish) and I made the conflicting shows based off of how bonnaroo likes to oppose different genres... That being said, I took a look at the conflict(s) I made and I cringed. But, hey, prepare for the worst and hope for the best!! But seriously, if they fucking book Friday latenight like I did, that shit will be evil and I will be pissed.
Friday What: Belle and Sebastian (5:30-6:45) -> Kendrick Lamar (7:45-9:30) -> Deadmau5 (10:30-12:30) Which: Spoon (7:00-8:00) -> Ben Harper (9:00-10:30) -LN-> MMJ (1:30-3:30) This: Brandi Carlile (6:45-7:45) --LN--> Flume (12:30-2:00) -> Run the Jewels (2:30-4:00) That: Punch Brothers (6:00 -7:30) --LN--> Atomic Bomb! (11:30-1:15) -> King Gizz (1:45-3:15) Other: ODESZA (6:15-7:15) --LN--> Freddie Gibs & Madlib (12:00-1:30) -> Flying Lotus (2:00-3:30)
Saturday What: Ben Folds w\ yMusic (5:30-6:30) -> Florence + the Macine (7:15-8:45) -> Mumford & Sons (9:30-11:30) Which: Gary Clark Jr. (6:00-7:00)-> Tears for Fears (8:00-9:30)-> Childish Gambino (11:30-1:00) -> Bassnectar (1:30-3:30) This: Dawes (8:15-9:15) -LN-> Superjam ? (12:30-2:30) -> SBTRKT (3:00-4:30) That: Twenty One Pilots (8:30-9:30) -LN-> BTBAM (11:30-1:00) -> Slayer (1:30-3:30) Other: Atmosphere (7:45-9:00) -LN-> STS9 (12:00-2:00)
i would personally do this...
Friday: (camp for Kendrick)Belle & Sebastian > Kendrick Lamar > (camp @ rail) for Atomic Bomb! > King Gizz > (end of) MMJ
Saturday: Ben Folds > (end of) Gary Clark Jr. > Tears for Fears > get hammered at campsite > Superjam > Slayer > (end of) Bassnectar

Haha, just messin' with ya, and it's OK because you did admit that it would be a downright evil conflict. I think we'll be alright with King Gizz, they seem primed for a Thursday LN. I just hope Roo doesn't completely screw up, and have them play at noon. I hope that one of SBTRKT, FLyLo, or STS9 closes the tent after Atomic Bomb! on the night opposite of MMJ's LN. I'm also kinda hoping that either RTJ or MadGibbs plays late on Thursday to soothe the Fri. and Sat. LN conflicts.
Although, even if it did turn out like that, Atomic Bomb! > King Gizzard > the last couple hours of Jacket would be otherworldly.

If the mystery SJ does turn out to be the New Basement Tapes, what do you guys think of the possibility of them waiting to do that on Sunday ala the Dr. John/Dan Auerbach SJ of 2011? I think with it seeming likely that MMJ plays Friday night and Mumford headlines Sat. that it's definitely possible. Would you be happy or sad if that one wasn't a late night?
