if the news about MMJ is correct, what would be the chances for a Florence and the Machine late night? or (hopefully) Tears for Fears or Earth Wind and Fire?
I think the ideal setup would be kendrick>mumford, MMJ>deadmau5 (both starting on the late side, the later overlapping with LN acts, then FloMac>joel
This could actually working with the theory that Deadmau5 will play later, there will be no LN Which on Friday, and maybe MMJ will get a slightly longer set as pre-HL.
Guys, we've already been told by a couple people in the know that it will be Kendrick -> Deadmau5. My biggest doubt regarding that situation is whether or not it will be Friday or Saturday because they said Friday but I kind of expect the info to have a little error
Damn, I didn't realize that there was precedent for no LN Which. That would be a bummer. I'll probably be raging at deadmau5 anyway, but options are always good.

To me, MMJ into Mumford makes a lot of sense, particularly with the potential for some New Basement Tapes crossover stuff. Have we ruled out Florence > Billy Joel? Because, to me, that works just as well.
If I were famous I would think people that ask me questions like this when I'm trying to catch a plane after a huge event are dopes. And I would probably give false information. Just for fun. Pictures and chit chat are one thing. Confirmations? fanboy.

No I didn't we were hanging out in the airport chatting about the new album and Bonnaroo crossed my mind. I asked "so guys the big question is are you guys gonna be raging a 3 hour late night set or what ?" Carl looked at Tom and they both shook their heads and Carl said no I think we're playing the main stage , definitely not late night though " I followed up with "well the 2011 spot wasn't bad Mmj > arcade fire , that was pretty cool" then my girlfriend asked Carl if they actually get to enjoy themselves when they are there ? And Carl said yah in 2013 he went for a day and was passing a bottle of tequila with Macca and was like "holy shit , I can't believe this is happening " we were trying to hang out and talk and not fish information out of them. We just had the times of our lives and didn't even think to ask what day. Sorry

I responded and told them I think they definitely should have deserved a headling spot over Kendrick and Mumford , Carl laughed and said " yeah billy Joel should be fun , I thought he retired haha"

Actually there was about 1 hour 40 minutes until our flights both left and we were standing in line waiting for Johnny Rockets when we started talking. Then we were at the same gate continuing our conversation.

What kind of trash is it that MMJ isn't getting a late night spot? They're basically playing the exact same time slot they did 4 years ago. What's Bonnaroo's deal this year? A letdown of "headliners" several acts placed top 15 with only one album, huge price increase then this crap. I guess I'll just have to look forward to their Forecastle set even though it'll have a curfew.

While no LN sucks, thanks for the information. I'm jealous you met them haha. That Karen character probably should just stay off this thread for a while. Man that johnny rockets line was long as shiz when I was there.
But I am confused as I didn't even say anything in the first place. Aside from the hypothetical pranks I would play if I were in the position to do so.
There's no jealousy of anyones conversation or question of credibility.
Why wouldn't there be a LN Which set Friday, that makes no sense to me??
Also Kendrick, Mau5, Flying Lotus and Bassnectar all playing Friday would only work if it were Kendrick 7-9 and mau5 10-12 on what with Fly Lo from 12-? in a tent and Bassnectar on Which starting around 1:30 and slaying till sunrise.
