All of this Sunday schedule discussion is pretty pointless.
If you have any brains at all, you'll be at the Bluegrass Situation. The first year was cool, last year was awesome, and this year looks even better.
No way, Caribou will blow that show away, there's no shortage of bluegrass on the farm this year. BUT, there are, few if any, acts that can compare to Caribou's kickass show
I hope they don't conflict would like to see the Bluegrass Situation. Its was great to lay in the grass pretty drunk and semi napping last year. But Caribou or Spoon or even Freddie Gibbs would keep me from doing that this year.

Jerry Douglass, Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Chris Thile, Sturgill Simpson, and whatever special guest (probably Robert Plant) they pull this year? I don't think Caribou will feature the top 4 artist in their genre on stage together for one show only...
Enjoy Caribou. I'll catch them literally anywhere else.
Yeah, I might catch those acts earlier in the day but not the actual superjam (Bela Fleck and Sturgill Simpson are the two I really wanna see)

That is an awesome lineup and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them all perform again. I can get stressed enough just thinking about the possibility that Spoon and Caribou conflict. I had already ruled out Bluegrass, but you've put the thought in my head now. Maybe I'll just end up on a bluegrassy mood Sunday afternoon

I personally can't think of a better time for bluegrass
Honest question, what has Florence been doing since that Dog Days song in 2011? I'm pretty out of the loop on her
Not much really. Other than releasing another critically well-received album that sold 2+ million copies and a handful of other charting singles. Oh, and she's headlined a couple of Euro fests and was billed in the top 6 at Lolla and ACL in 2012.
What album was that? I'm honestly asking, I never even heard a mention of it. And the high billings at Lolla and ACL aren't feathers in her cap, they're just equally confusing to me.

That would be Ceremonials. Her biggest single from that album was "Shake It Out", but her other singles also charted well in the U.K. As for the billing positions at Lolla and ACL, I think you're underestimating how popular she is. She was also the 4th billed act on her day at Coachella in 2012, so those billings weren't much of an anomaly.

I'm not even a huge bluegrass fan, but I can't wait for Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas and Punch Brothers. I'll be at all 3. The other 3 shows I'd like to hit up are Robert Plant, Caribou and Spoon on Sunday. So, with the Superjam, that's 7 shows I want to see before Joel, so I'll probably have to miss a couple of them. Either way, it's a good set up for a nice, relaxing Sunday. Nothing too crazy, can sit in the back in the grass for all these acts except for Caribou who's I'd like to do some dancing for.
Music Midtown: 2011 Bonnaroo: 2012 - 2016 Forecastle: 2013 Rock al Parque: 2014 420 Fest: 2014-2018 Shaky Knees: 2015 - 2019, 2021 Seen tons of local shows since 2004.

My thought is since everything is happening a little bit sooner this year the schedule will drop maybe next Wednesday? Possibly even tomorrow based on this: The 2014 schedule was leaked exactly a year ago, then was officially dropped 2 weeks after that. So since everything's happening a little earlier this year, and with the Wednesday precedent, April 29th makes sense to me.
edit: tomorrow would leave room for the superjam announcement or better yet lineup additions (unlikely but let me dream)
Her (FLORENCE) crowd in 2011 is the reason she won't be on the which. Nothing else is relevant. i have a feeling you weren't there for it. She was a rookie, it was 4 years ago, she's huge. Plant doesn't need to take a spot from her, it's pointless in 2015.
So does anybody remember if the sonic stage was announced after the initial schedule release last year? Trying to figure out when we can expect that. There are a few announcements left. the few spots that say TBA on the schedule(I think there were 2 or 3), the Superjam lineup, cinema tent, sonic stage and silent disco. Then also they typically will announce what breweries will be in Broo'ers tent and what vendors in the food truck oasis. Maybe something for that art installations as well(Kaliope, etc)
