I've been arguing with a friend that I had a feeling MMJ wouldn't get a LN Which - starting to think this year might have a Friday or Saturday night with no late night Which sets. I can only imagine Flume, Bassnectar, maybe Childish/Atmosphere being able to hold it down.

1/30: Cold War Kids
2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists
6/11-6/14: BONNAROO 2015
6/28: Against Me!
6/30: Against Me!
This might be a silly question, but what's the basis for believing the headliners will be on certain days besides "logic"?
there was a dude who posted the headliners back in December on the specific dates. He turned out to be right, and it's been hinted at from others "in the know"
Can we go back to this for a second?
I read through posts from insider, infinitypass, launchpad, and seeduckswim...but I can't find the headliners linked to dates, other than Billy Joel on Sunday (which insider "confirmed").
If Bassnectar IS actually playing on Friday, I think most would agree that is much more likely to be on Which after Mumford plays What. Then it would obviously move Kendrick/Deadmau5 to Saturday as more or less "unopposed headliners" as I believe launchpad stated a while back.
I'd also like to say that TheFudgeFactory is doing a great job keeping this thread up-to-date. I just wanted to make sure I haven't missed something that was already said about the headliners and dates because I have a hard time moving Bassnectar in my mock from Saturday to Friday without also moving the headliners.

I can't remember exactly where it was but the days headliners were playing was pretty much accepted as common knowledge by around 1/7/2015 - 1/8/2015 in the headliner thread. so while nothing is ever 100% until the schedule drops its about the safest bet possible that the headliners will be kendrick/mau5 friday, mumford sat, billy joel sun.
I'm thinking pollstar is just wrong about bassnectar on friday.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
It's going to take a whole fuck ton of goodwill in the schedule to get me to come back if MMJ isn't a late night. How did they get demoted in the rankings? It's the most lack luster line up in the history of Bonnaroo and they're billed 7th. 2011 they were 6th and got a longer set than the headliners that year. WTF is going on?

They're basically par for 2011. It's going to be the same stage, same slot. Id say a 2-2.5 hour set which will almost for sure be more than Kendrick, and atleast the same as Mau5. No demotion, just no promotion.

This all the way! How did Robert Plant become a larger act since 2011 but MMJ didn't? It's pure disrespect to give a band with a such a rich Bonnaroo history what'll likely be the same slot and time schedule they had 4 years ago, but let some EDM clowns play till sunrise. AC has lost his mind. The lineup is a joke this year and what I considered the one redeeming thing, they ruin by not giving them a late night which slot.

If it follows the same/similar sources you've been using for other acts so far, I'd say leave it for now. As others have said elsewhere, it doesn't SEEM like the schedule should be Deadmau5 on What and then Bassnectar on Which.
BUT Kanye on What to Ice Cube on Which last year defied scheduling logic in a similar way IMO. I realize Bassnectar is billed way higher than Ice Cube, but anything is possible..

I find it strange that Slyvan Esso is listed four times, and one of those days is indeed when she's playing. Then you have Spoon on Thurs, unless it's not the Spoon that has been around almost 15 years, and is a smaller band: Why are they listed on Thurs?!!! Unless they are doing which LN on thurs for the first time. Damn pollstar!

Yes, we know Pollstar is not always accurate, but it's not completely wrong either.
These have alternative sources that match up with what Pollstar says: Ben Harper Guster Shabazz Palaces Bela Fleck Abigail Washburn
We know that Spoon listed on Thursday is wrong and just a placeholder and due to their other dates they are playing on Sunday.
Sylvan Esso being listed all 4 days is just a placeholder.
The only reason people are questioning Pollstar listing Bassnectar on Friday is because they think it doesn't make sense for Deadmau5 and Bassnectar to play the same night. But people tend to forget that Bonnaroo doesn't always make the most logical decisions when it comes to making the schedule. Could it be wrong? Yes, but for now I'll just leave it as if he is playing on Friday.
