Yes, we know Pollstar is not always accurate, but it's not completely wrong either.
These have alternative sources that match up with what Pollstar says: Ben Harper Guster Shabazz Palaces Bela Fleck Abigail Washburn
We know that Spoon listed on Thursday is wrong and just a placeholder and due to their other dates they are playing on Sunday.
Sylvan Esso being listed all 4 days is just a placeholder.
The only reason people are questioning Pollstar listing Bassnectar on Friday is because they think it doesn't make sense for Deadmau5 and Bassnectar to play the same night. But people tend to forget that Bonnaroo doesn't always make the most logical decisions when it comes to making the schedule. Could it be wrong? Yes, but for now I'll just leave it as if he is playing on Friday.
It actually does make sense to have them play on the same night. That way the edm focus can go to acts like Flume, StS9, Odesza, and others on the next night. Even Last year Kaskade and Zedd played on the same night and the skrillex superjam was in between. They just had the option of a second Skrillex set to have the next night. Who knows, maybe Deadmau5 or Bassnectar do a second set on Saturday too in Superjam form or another style set. Anything is possible at Roo!

I see what you are saying, but another EDM like Superjam would be redundant. I'm sure they have something else in mind.

Deadmau5 into Bassnectar would kill the average rager over 25. I often wonder how Ultra attendees keep their stamina over the course of the fest and my best guess is because they are all 19-21.

Easy place to make a drug joke but I think you're correct on the youth bit. Also I'm willing to bet most attendees don't go all day at Ultra but sleep late and hang out in the hotel.
I watch the stream every year and during the afternoon a lot of the smaller stages are sparsely attended, relative to other festivals. But I have no 1st hand experience with Ultra.

I would say the average Ultra attendees are between 15-18. I live 20 minutes from the fest and everyone in my high school used to attend. But now it's apparently 18+
Glass Animals have themselves listed as playing on June 11th so looks like you can put them in on Confirmed for thursday (I don't know if anyone else mentioned this yet but I just saw it and figured it's worth mentioning)
I could see them playing Thursday, but check the quote in the OP.
Just saw Glass Animals added tour dates in Norfolk and Richmond (June 12 and 13): glassanimals.eu/live/
It still leaves Sunday as a possibility, but I do think they have the feel of a Thursday night and it makes more sense geographically (at least to me)...
If they play Bonnaroo Thursday, their tour goes New Orleans>(OPEN...ATL/Charlotte?)>Asheville>Bonnaroo>Norfolk>Richmond>(OPEN...DC?)>Cleveland>Buffalo If they play Bonnaroo Sunday, their tour goes New Orleans>(OPEN...ATL/Charlotte?)>Asheville>(OPEN...DC?)>Norfolk>Richmond>Bonnaroo>Cleveland>Buffalo
I understand if you want to leave them off the official "confirmed" list, but I thought I'd at least provide the info.

I think the consensus will be that you are right. Euro bands travel between countries often and play back to back nights I.e Royal blood. The Thursday scenerio makes more sense. But sense isn't something that always prevails. Jungle and glass animals, temples, and districts would be a good Thursday IMO

yea, I feel the same but I still could easily see Deadmau5 and Bassnectar playing the same night

I'm confused as to why people think deadmau5 and Bassnectar couldn't be on the same night. Why couldn't they? In 2011, Bassnectar and Pretty Lights played the same night. It's not like the lineup is soft on EDM.
This is the first time a button-masher has been the main stage headliner. It's uncharted waters. I think it's logical to assume they would avoid having the next largest EDM act on the bill play immediately after Deadmau5. I think the Kanye > Ice Cube counter-argument is a good one, though.

(1) You sound very ignorant when you call Deadmau5 a button-masher.
(2) There is nothing particularly logical about Bonnaroo's scheduling.

Deadmau5 called Deadmau5 a button masher. just saying.

is button-masher a bad thing? thats basically what araabmuzik is doing. he's just hittin those buttons real fast.
I thought Deadmau5' post was not only interesting, but also hilarious and on point. That's why I thought I would share it.
I wasn't really trying to get into the button mashing argument.
I kind of find EDM shows horribly boring. Why would I pay good money to see a person stand up there and play the MacBook? I'll stick to seeing REAL musicians.
Edit: Just to clarify so I don't get disemboweled, I was joking.

Not to derail the thread any further, but I think that's a completely fair criticism if you care more about watching the musical performance. Personally, I like certain electronic music because I think it can be great to dance to (and sometimes simply great to hang out and listen to). I don't understand why people need to get close to see the DJ. Nothing is really happening besides the light show which doesn't require being on the rail. The point of EDM shows is to dance - not to stare at some skinny coked out European pretending to be implementing a set.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever been to an EDM show where I was sober.

One of my favorites edm sets I saw ,I was sober. Bloody Beetroots first ever live set at Ultra like 5 years or so back.

Yeah, most of the EDM shows I've gone to, I've been sober actually. If you're at a shitty DJ show, it's necessary to be under the influence of something, but at a good EDM show, that is not the case. If you require a substance to have fun at all EDM shows, you need to learn how to have a good time and be carefree when you're sober.
The only time I was at an EDM show and did not have a single drink was at Daft Punk in Mexico City and every time I see Above & Beyond. I just enjoy their music.
I saw the districts last night. They put on an amazing show. Also talked to their merch guy. He said he was 95 percent positive they were playing thursday.
