Yes that is true. I'd like a good spot for Kendrick, but I would sacrifice part of the set for Ben Harper
Forgive me if you all have seen him before, but I'll let you know right now that when I saw Kendrick a couple years ago he put on an awful live show. Might not be worth camping out.
That being said, it was a couple years ago and he could be putting on fantastic live shows now.
I have not seen him before, and you arent the first person to be less than impressed from his live show. I have however seen a lot of people say his recent shows have been much improved. I'm excited to check him out because I do enjoy his music. I'm not gonna camp for a good spot unless there's somebody before him that I want to see

Agreed. Saw him in 2013 at Sweetlife, and the performance left much to be desired. But the crowd's energy made up for it, so it was still a great time.

I've seen Kendrick recently with his live band and I must say it's quite a show, crowd was loving it.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
My schedule guesses are slowly falling into place... So at least it seems unlikely now that slayer and MMJ will conflict!!

I dunno why but ln which Fri has been strongly assumed. I'd like confirmation of this, because if slayer truly doesn't conflict with mmj then I'm a happy guy.

There's no confirmation. But logic says that they'd have Bassnectar and MMJ play the which on opposite nights. Logic also says that they wouldn't put Bassnectar on the Which right after Deadmau5. So, through that logic, people (myself included) are assuming MMJ will play LN Which on Friday, after Deadmau5. However, gonna roo doesn't always use sound logic, so it's possible that this will not be the case.

So when you search Dopapod at the Windish Agency site, next to the date of Bonnaroo on that thurs, it says Dej Loaf and Houndmouth(surprised they are on a thurs).

Yeah when I was updating Dopapod I saw both of them listed to the side and wasn't sure if that meant they are playing on Thursday also(maybe same tent?). I'm going to go ahead and add them for now and just watch to see if anything changes.

While typing it out, I began to really miss our old dumpster fire that was the headliner thread because no such reasonable logic would be allowed in there. Really though bonnaroo could choose to ignore that logic but it really would not make sense to have Mumford the same day as MMJ. UNLESS, they chose to have no act on the Which stage after Deadmau5 like with Stevie/Jay-Z. But, to me, Kendrick/Deamau5 is not at all comparable to the Stevie/Jay combo so I've been treating it more like MMJ and Arcade Fire (when they had lil Wayne play the Which after Arcade Fire was done.)

I also miss the Headliner thread. It wasn't really about headliners. It was just a really nice dumpster fire. Now that the lineup's out, this board has way too much purpose again.

Well, if history has taught me anything, it's that Bonnaroo will take my top 10 bands and schedule them all against each other within a 2 hour block on Sunday afternoon.
Last year, Friday evening was the absolute worst for me. Head and the Heart/Chvrches/Vampire Weekend/Neutral Milk/Phoenix, blehh. Top 10 matched against each other on Sunday would make that stretch of last year's Friday look like a walk in the park, though.

Though 2014 Saturday late night with Flaming Lips/Superjam/Frank Ocean/Nick Cave and Jack White playing late is also terrible.
That 2011 decision wasn't very hard for the Strokes, haha. I would've probably gone with the superjam because Dr. John is awesome
Saturday of 2014 is about as terrible as it can get but going to Cave when Jack finished was the easy choice, for me at least. I honestly don't think that Bonnaroo will make a conflict half as bad as that this year. I think the latenight conflicts won't be awful for me this year; though, there will probably be one REALLY bad conflict one of the nights and I will whine and whine about it once they drop the lineup.
