What I don't get is how out of a forum full of goons this poor kid is taking the brunt of it all.
I wouldn't really call it "the brunt of it all." He has very recently made some odd/comical/maybe offensive/mostly just ill-informed statements and so people are poking fun of him for it. Once he stops doing so, I doubt anyone will continue to pick on him. H8 the game, not the playerz

I'll use the bar metaphor again for how I see it in my head when things like this happen.
Lets say inforoo is a bar with a core group of regulars who get together to hang out and bullshit about music. They get to know each other pretty well and become accustomed to each others ways of speaking and personalities. One day this group of regulars is hanging out at a table at said bar and discussing say, EDM, when out of the blue a stranger walks into the bar, approaches the table, and announces, with no introduction:
Mau5 announced hes making an hour long edit of strobe nuff said and dont hate on nectar he is metal and if you cant enjoy his music I feel inclined to reintroduce you
Everyone immediately busts out laughing because the guy can obviously barely speak, and seems strangely aggressive, so he follows up with:
Let me guess your opinion on music is better than mine.. rofl that you have to announce your single on a forum dont diss a culture your not very appealing yourself.. Id rather be with the heady kids than with the 30 year old at a music festival judging teenagers.. good day
and so on and so forth, and this individual speaks just like it is written, with no pauses in the sentences, slurred or mispronounced words. How can this not be hilarious? He's seems like a decent dude so he just gets laughed at and a little shit thrown at him.
Whenever someone newish shows up and types poorly and immediately gets ripped on because of it I always picture this situation as it would happen in real life.
