Dave Maynar, I keep meaning to tell you to check this out. They started at the beginning of the pandemic and it’s one of the things that got me through lockdown. They’re pushing the 3 to 4 hour mark on episodes these days but talking about Fugazi and Soulside, I totally understand.
Dr. sweet Chat - the Small Talk Robot played by Gil Ozeri on this week's Comedy Bang Bang was fucjing hilarious. Gil is so funny.
There was even some "Oh no" in this new episode!!! Or more accurately: "Oh, noi".
All 4 people on this episode were having the fucking time of their lives by the end. Lilly Sullivan is always a treasure and Carl/Ego together always leads to great chemistry between them. Scott getting in on the BB Bridges game and "hitting women" to play Italiano's game had me losing it as much as Carl was.

I'm pretty sure there's been at least one "oh no" in each episode this year so far. I hope the streak continues

In that vein I'd like to recommend "the Fall of Rome" and "the Tides of History". the former is self explanatory and the latter covers European history through the Renaissance. both are very well done, interesting character studies and not dry at all.

Awww.....a whole article/slideshow about Matt Gourley's wedding to Amanda Lund. Fans of Gourley & Rust or any of the Andy Daly Earwolf podcasts (as well as Conan needs a friend and most importantly: Supergo) will probably be happy about this like I was to see it. It was new to me and posted on the Earwolf subreddit

one of the announcers for mens's ski jumping sounds like tim baltz. make it happen, cbb. also just saw that him and lily sullivan got married this weekend!
I love "Some do car alarms, but most honk horns". But the one about a truck baby saying "Please kill me, i'm constantly in pain, why do I exist, please end my life" and Drew responding with "No, you're my son and I'm proud to be the father to this Human-skin Truck Baby" is so insane.
Also "But then the boy truck took off the girl truck's glasses and realized how pretty she was" is just so fucking stupid but I'll always smile hearing it.
It's always going to be the "Toot Beep, Beep Honk Toot Beep" part. How much fun they are having is so infectious.
Recently started listening to Time Crisis (Ezra Koenig) and I am obsessed. Their sense of humor is totally up my alley and I like that there is a lot of music sprinkled in. Mostly listened to interview style podcasts in the past so their "internet radio" concept is fresh to me. I'm sure many have you have checked it out before, but if not, I highly recommend!
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
