I'm visiting my sister in Chapel Hill. They're biased against us SEC folk here so I've gotta use ESPN3 to watch AU/Arkansas. I also have to chill in the lobby right now because our room is being cleaned. This game is not exactly going great and a hotel lobby is not a good environment for using my football words
That was tough.
me rn
That was a tough one. We were our own worst enemies today. Sean White hit our receivers in the hands all day long and they basically refused to catch it. And our defense... my God our defense looks awful.
Anyway, recruits of the south take notice! Auburn is hiring. Positions available immediately. Email only please, no calls.
Also.. UT is down by 11 18 in the 3rd. I feel somewhat of an attachment to them since I just spent most of a year living minutes away from campus and having Rice-Eccles stadium basically visible out of my apartment window (other side of the building), but having them plummet out of the top 5 will only mean good things for ol' Clemson.
edit: GT down by 3 late against FSU.. could be an interesting finish in that one.

If you're a fan of me, you're a fan of your motherquackin' self.
I bet sang_xcx is more insufferable than usual to be around right now.
I've been pretty quiet. But it's getting hard to stay quiet. We're really fucking good.
I think Clemson will get a good bump in the poll from this even if Utah had won. Miami isn't a great team by any stretch, but Clemson dominated them from start to finish. There's always something to be said for giving a historic program their worst loss in the history of the program. I think that along with the national tv broadcast will get Clemson more notice than they have gotten even for the Notre Dame game. I do have to give a shout out to Dabo. Giving that speech on the sideline rather than the locker room was a gold idea. It sets Clemson up as a program who isn't just satisfied with winning and getting out of town. They want to be the best. Lastly, if you didn't catch it, the color announcer touched on what I think is going to be Clemson's biggest selling point if they win out. They don't have a weak point on the team as far as they have shown so far this year. They may not be the best in a particular facet of the game, but they're above average everywhere. Those are the teams that have success in the last part of the season.

Wow, any Clemson fans around here? I think I remember there being one. custeph might kinda like them, no? Anyway, nice job by the Tigers handing "The U" their worst defeat ever. Maybe they should Change that to "The L," since they seem pretty adept at racking those up lately.
Of course the defending national champions and previously top-ranked team rolled over their opponent with ease as well and will remain Number One, but I'll gloat about that later.

Yea we've had great offenses and great defenses. This year the offense started out slow but they've played great the last few weeks. The defense has been lights out all season. So we're solid on both sides of the ball. If we have a weakness it's special teams.
ncbst3 Are you feeling good enough about Pitt to buy ACCCG tickets? We just bought ours and custeph got hers.
I can't let her answer this question because no Pitt fan should feel good enough. While we are sitting pretty, we still have our toughest two ACC games with UNC at home Thursday night and at Duke in three weeks. Plus Louisville and Miami at home before and after Thanksgiving. Those teams probably have as much talent as we do if not more. So no Pitt fans should be booking travel to Charlotte yet.

That's what I would think too. But you could take a chance on joining us. Only $25 for Upper Deck. You can sell them to Clemson fans if your team doesn't make it.

Every time I start to be on board with Clemson's success, you arise to keep it in check. Thanks for being you.
You'll have to get on Steph about this too. We bought tickets on the Coastal side because there were none left on the Atlantic. She said it doesn't matter because the whole stadium will be orange. And it's true, it doesn't matter which team we're playing.

All of this is true. Ive been a Pitt fan for far too long to be booking a non refundable plane ticket to Charlotte this early. Got the email today from the season ticket office to put my request in for the Championship and Bowl game. Ill probably end up requesting tickets, but I wont be booking a hotel or airfare until I see how UNC goes Thurs and Duke goes on the 14th. Banking on the Miami game being meaningless by then. (Pitt, UNC, Duke and Miami all play each other the next 3 weekends its probable the Costal will be settled by Nov 14th) Pitt travels well. Its more of a "home" game for Clemson but expect Pitt to make a decent showing. Plus its like -40 here in December, Pittsburghers like any excuse to get south. Im in if we end up in Charlotte.
