So, I tweeted sloss fest saying I got my ticket and was excited to see modest mouse and HOPEFULLY avett brothers. I got a twitter notification that they liked my tweet but when i go back, they removed the like. Is that a sign avett brothers are playing?? lol I didn't screenshot the like in my notifications like an idiot.

I've never seen Primus so I'm most excited for them. I wish they would do the Primus and the Chocolate Factory stuff but they probably wouldn't have enough time. I guess I missed out on that.
I've seen almost every other band on the lineup so there's no bucket list material or anything that blows me away, but there's a lot of good stuff. What's most exciting to me is an observation that a friend made about this. He said that this reminded him of the first year of Shaky Knees. And look at the beast that festival has become. That's an exciting thought.

Really weird. I just bought two tickets at the $105 price. Printed them out and it printed 4 tickets at a price of 52.50. 4 completely separate barcodes. Anybody have any idea what is up with that?

I would assume you get a unique ticket for each day.

I would think this would be true. You only get a wristband if you're doing vip or iron so we would need tickets each day for general.
Definitely looking at going to this, since it's close. Avett would just make the decision easier. As mentioned above, would definitely love to cross Modest Mouse off my live list!
Primus just announced some summer dates with Dinosaur Jr opening and Sloss is on that list. So surely they're one of the additions. If not, they blew it.
Welp nevermind. Their email differentiates the shows featuring them opening vs fests and Dinosaur Jr released their dates and it's not on there. goddammit.
Are Primus and Modest Mouse the headliners? Will Avett Bros be on the top also?

Just jumping in, so correct me if I'm wrong, but did PP give up a bunch of sweet info? I'd rather not see Avett, so I'm hoping so he did, and that means this part is true too. I'd much prefer Widespread, but I'll assume that won't happen. Either way, I'm there!

As much as I love Avett, I'm about to see them for the third time in a year in a couple weeks, so I'd personally prefer someone else. They are still a great act to have on the lineup though!

Same here, I was actually relieved that they were not on the bill. I would imagine the new album will come out later in the summer and have a strong southern fall tour to promote it. That is a tricky game to play with football season though. I would imagine they will play a 2 night BJCC show since they only did 1 Wood show last year.
Put WSP on your bill the first year of your fest, and price it like Sloss has, and you have a recipe for profits. Makes sense. But, I agree guys, I'd prefer to see a full 2 sets over a fest show.

The lady Godzilla and I are moving into a house soon, so we have to save some $$$. I'm full of shit. I just want to see Dinosaur Jr. in NC.
