They had Beck opening arena show I saw in 2005 and Alice Cooper for stadium show I went to in 2006. The schedule for Indianapolis date has Rolling Stones at 8 and fireworks (it's on the 4th of July) at 11:30. They could play a 3 hour gig on their own or part if that might include an opener. Either way sounds awesome to me.

The recordings I have for those past shows run 1 hour 45 minutes & 2 hours so definitely seems having opener is more probable unless they simply start late and finish early.
if i cant get a ticket right away would this be a show worth going to even if the seats arent the greatest?
On what may be the last North American tours for one of the greatest bands to ever live, I'd definitely try to make it to a show if you're a fan of them.

I passed on getting tickets to Raleigh this morning. The two seats I landed were not impressive and came out to $150 each, when you can buy crappy seats on stub-hub right now for $120 each.

Well I saw em' at War Memorial in B-Ham in 89'(with Living Color), and Vanderbilt in 97'. I skipped their last show at Bridgestone, but I'm in for the Nashville show at LP(though I would've much preferred Vandy). Damn the ticket wasn't cheap though. The most I've ever paid for a ticket from the box office easily. But fuck it...it's prolly my last chance to see em' again. And it's the wed after Roo so I'll still be riding a nice music high. I'll be down on the main floor section E.
Save for the 15 or so rows behind me , my tickets are about as far away as possible at LP Field in Nashville. The $110 level was as high as I was willing to go, and I'm definitely getting punished for my stubbornness. Nonetheless, I'm psyched that I will be in the building!

Where are you sitting? I pulled row 25 in Section J. I just said fuck it and bought them. I didn't want to have to mess around trying to find tickets on stubhub

That's awesome, I'm definitely jealous. Mine are in Section 327. Wanna trade?

Jealous?! I think i'm something like... 15 rows from the back of the floor? Am I even going o be able to see anything? At least you'll have a full view!

Haha, still jealous.
I think you should be fine, I am sure the stage will be elevated enough that your views will be awesome. LP Field also has really nice huge jumbotrons on each end of the field at those open areas on the diagram. I've never actually seen a show there since it does not happen much other than for CMA Fest, so I am not sure if the screen behind the stage will be in use or not. The stage set-up may block it. If they are in use, people outside of the stadium will probably have better views than I will.

Well if we want the best of both worlds, maybe we can swap seats halfway through the show

You're better off than I am! In Georgia, I got row 30 of Section L. So I'm going to be tucked away deep in the back corner and I am only 5'6" so I'm not gonna be able to see a damn thing
I've got two extra tickets in the 90$ "cheap" seats range if anyone is interested. I will probably have them until day of the show hoping some of my friends may decide to come along. I'll scalp them at the show if not

Damn. I'd love to take one and tag along, but I work that night. I'd have to make it in by 11pm. Unless I can get the first half covered and come in at 3am.... Which more than likely won't happen.
You are still going right? When do you plan on coming into town that day?
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
